The Design, Landscape and Hardscape teams within MJS did a terrific job in executing our plans. Very tasteful blending of the new design to existing. Great folks to work with!

We had a rather challenging landscaping project on our newly constructed home that entailed a significant change in grade on a lot opening up to a wetland area with significant visibility to anyone entering the subdivision--a high visibility project. The hardscape design was exceptional and was created with 3D software. The team was open to adjustments during the project to make the design even more exceptional and to accomplish one of the project objectives of creating a space that would be mow-able. The creativity of the team was special and the buildout of the stone wall, including artistic placement of stone was excellent. The team worked seamlessly with the concrete drive and patio vendor and plumber (for gas firepit) to complete a patio seat wall with pillars and firepit with rock outcropping steps placed artistically in the hip of the grade change with Kichler Pro Series low voltage landscape night lights to create an inviting environment at night. The plantings were well thought out and delivered and planted timely to allow them to take hold during this summer-time project. Great watering instructions and guidance was given directly by the project designer following multiple on-site visits throughout the project. The project also included a full-yard seeding with straw mat followed by owner watering and care to fully establish the lawn. The team came back multiple times to timely fertilize and recommend watering adjustments. This resulted in a fully-established and vibrant lawn within a couple of months. Topsoil selection, final grade and fertilization made all the difference. The project also included angular stone chips within edging around the entire home and buried downspouts. We had one up-light go dark and MJS team members were back out within a day or two to replace what turned out to be a bad bulb. Leave-behind watering gators and tree staking helped to assure that the trees got off to a great start. The communication between the project designer, the on-site project manager and us as owners was exceptional. We never had to wonder what was happening and when. Recommendations for plan tweaks were discussed thoughtfully and allowed us to approve any changes in a timely manner. The team really focused on delivering an exceptional project, on-time and within budget.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Starting with the design process, Tracy Jenks brought our vision to life. She listened to our ideas and captured them beautifully in her design. Paul and Doug’s installation team worked tirelessly to finish the project, payed special attention to every detail, and executed the landscape plan flawlessly. Just built a house. MJS Landscaping should get more than 5 stars. David was great to work with. He listened to our vision and then added his expertise to our project. The crew that worked on our property exceeded expectations. They discussed what was going to be done, if we had any questions and made our forever home that much more enjoyable. The crew cleaned up after each day, walked us thru lighting, maintenance, and overall upkeep of the things we purchased ( stone, pavers, shrubs, trees, etc.) Happy wife, Happy Life! We could not be happier with the landscaping project with MJS. We engaged them to perform a major redo of our landscaping, including the patio in back, walkways around each side of the house and all plantings next to the house. Our designer and project lead was Tracy and she was just what we needed. We had a vague idea of what we wanted and she asked all the right questions and gave the right advice to get us there. She listened to our concerns and questions and was a good communicator. If she didn't have an answer to a question she didn't fake it but instead said she would find out--and she did so quickly. Follow-up was always timely and complete. The crew was friendly, cleaned up on a regular basis and was very competent and careful with their work. Tracy kept a watchful eye on progress. The final result was stunning and exceeded our expectations. We would confidently recommend them.

We really enjoyed the design process. We had professional advice that tried to deliver what we wanted, not a prepackaged product. We use our patio area daily and it provides all that we had wanted. We have received many compliments not just from guests, but also from total strangers just passing by. We have recommended MJS over and over again. If we had not had some construction delays and difficulty with some plantings, our rating would have been 5 star. Thanks to David and the team.

I totally enjoyed working with the staff at MJS Landscaping. My designer, Tracy Jenks, listened to my goals and ideas for the design. She was willing to make numerous updates to the plan as I made changes. She brought my vision to life. During the installation of the project through completion, she stayed in communication and visited the site at least once per week. My crew chief, Doug, and his staff were very competent and easy to communicate with. They explained their work at each stage of the project and made many helpful suggestions, most of which I gladly accepted. I have enjoyed working with the MJS staff. They created a beautiful landscape and I have received numerous compliments. I highly recommend MJS Landscaping Services and would use them again in a heart beat.

MJS was incredible. I would recommend them to everyone (and I have…shortly after our patio was done one of our family members hired them for their patio!). The patio area that they created for us is stunning. From design to execution they handled everything flawlessly and created a backyard retreat that exceeded all our expectations. We feel so lucky to have worked with them. You will not be disappointed.

MJS has been our Landscape contractor and Snow Removal business for many years. We are a HOA Condo customer with 80 condo's and we can't say enough about their services. Andy and his team along with Cliff do an outstanding job in both areas. If we have a problem, they are quick to the draw and resolve it. It is certainly a pleasure having you take care of us.

We had a great experience with MJS, especially Tracy Jenks, our Designer. She was on the job every time she was needed and kept all the workers informed as to changes or additions. Our home is a new construction, so they started with a blank slate, and did everything needed to make our property look full and beautiful, including grading and seeding about 1 1/2 acres of lawn! The workers, especially job Foremen were extremely helpful at letting us know what they are doing that day and what to expect, which for me is very helpful. In many cases, they went above and beyond to help us in other areas that don't even pertain to their work. Unfortunately for us they completed our job and planted our lawn after the growing season, and everything went dormant. They promised to be there for us in Spring for anything that doesn't come back after the freeze, and I'm trusting they will honor that. Overall...we were very pleased!

From the very start working with the designer to the installation itself MJS were professional , personable, friendly, creative and a pleasure to work with. My new new landscape looks amazing.

We are very pleased with the job done by MJS. We hired Tracy to design the landscape for our newly constructed home and she knocked it out of the park. Our job was plant heavy with very little stonework so it required a lot of research and creativity. We asked her to work within specific guidelines such as using natives, pollinators and 4 season food sources for animals - beyond that, we were only able to tell her the "feel" we wanted. She amazingly filled in the gaps in our idea and delivered a beautiful design! One of our favorite features, the "bubbling boulder". We have received numerous compliments from our neighbors and we are even more thrilled with how it looks now that it is beginning to fill in.

We had a great experience with MJS. During our project, we had a lot of delays due to the weather not cooperating, MJS made sure that we were always informed on the schedule. Their site manager was very knowledgeable and made sure every detail was perfect. They have been great to work with post-project completion as well, making sure that no details where missed. I would highly recommend them.

It’s without any reservation I recommend MJS Landscaping Services. We engaged MJS for our landscaping project that included major landscaping and hardscaping after meeting Dave at a home improvement show. I spoke with many different landscaping contractors at the show and throughout the previous year. To be honest I was most impressed with Dave because he seemed to be the only one listening to me, as the customer. I was also impressed with their technology. We were able to review and easily make changes quickly because they use a CAD system. When It came to the construction and implementation of the plan everything went extremely well. Dave and Mike were very engaged, monitoring the progress and made changes as required. We also used third parties they recommended to install pergolas (K-2 Kevin Enright Highly Recommend). As with any project, there are always minor callbacks especially with trees and shrubs. MJS warranted and replaced nursery stock. Dave and Mike were extremely responsive and worked with us until we were completely satisfied. At the end of the day I could not be happier. We continue to receive compliments for our guests. Our project was a big project. It was completed in a timely manner. It was done orderly and neatly. The yard looked clean at the end of the day. The workers were kind, polite, respectful, hard working and friendly. I missed the when they were done! Follow up has been great.

The crew that did the install of our trees/shrubs/stone driveway/stone outdoor living center/sod were amazing. They worked very hard and the on-site manager was by far the hardest worker of all! We went all out on this project for our new home and we were not disappointed, other than a few trees/bushes that died within the first couple of months. We understand this happens and will have them replaced at the one-year mark. It just takes away from the overall ambiance!

Tracy did an excellent job gathering our requirements and putting together an excellent design. I struggled to get other companies to even quote the work...they would show up on site and then send me a hastily thrown together proposal weeks later. Tracy on the other hand gave us a detailed design and easily understandable pricing. The sales process made me confident that MJS was going to be more professional than anyone else who looked at the work. When it was time to start work, MJS delivered as expected. Having just built a house and being familiar with the routine of contractors not showing up when promised, this was a very pleasant surprise. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner.

We have had a horrible experience with MJS Landscaping of Lannon Wi, and still are. We have so many things that need to be fixed with our landscaping...dead plant/bushes/trees, fireplace hearth is cracking and has holes in it, rocks shifting, pavers having a white film issue making them look terrible and sand between the pavers that need to be fixed. The grass they planted also looks horrible. MJS told us at the beginning that all this issue would be fixed. We contacted them almost a year ago and as of today none of these issues have been resolved, They don't return many of our calls, keep pushing us off, have yet to give us and dates and times as to when the work will be fixed, didn't show up at an important meeting, and responded with very unprofessional email and state that we are hard to deal with customers or are impatient (even tho it has been since last fall we contacted them regarding some of these issues). The owner of this compony is very unprofessional and treated us in a very disrespectful manner. We would never want any other homeowner to go thru the stress with dealing with MJS as we have, so we would NOT recommend them to anyone. Our landscaping project was quite expensive and we feel it should look nice but it has many issues. We have been overly patient with this company.......

David Fatla and the staff at MJS Landscaping were exceptional. From the design to the work schedule to the finished project, all areas were handled professionally and promptly. Any subsequent touch up work or replacement necessary was handled promptly. They absolutely stand behind their work.

Great company to work with! From design to implementation every thing was great. Dave and his team works hard to be on time, provide quick and easy solutions to problems that pop up all the while creating some beautiful landscaping. We will definitely use MJS again in the future.

Very happy with the landscape plan from Tracy and the plant material used was healthy. This was a two season project and the company and staff were very easy to work with to meet our requirements. The landscape lighting enhanced the architecture of the house. We will use M.J. S. for future projects.

MJS did such a great job on our patio overhaul and landscaping. Project planning was excellent and responsive. The crew was fantastic - polite, neat, timely, communicated well. All of their recommended contractors (electrical and fencing) were outstanding. We couldn't have been more pleased and are enjoying our new space!

M.J.S. is a great firm. Very professional, attentive to changes that occurred from the original design etc. The design was outstanding and made the yard not only beautiful but the patio area very functional as well. The team consisted of 3-4 individuals that were very efficient as well as professional. I live on a lake and wanted " rustic elegance" and that is what I received. Highly recommend.

The did a great job in designing and installing the landscaping and patio around our new in-ground pool. It was very easy to understand the design with their use of 3D rendering. The workers on the site had outstanding workmanship and their attitudes were great. Their service group also did a great job on spring and fall clean up. Highly recommend.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tracy Jenks and the MJS team who completed our landscaping project. Tracy put a lot of thought into our plan and we were impressed that she continued to update as she saw ways to improve upon the original design. The team who completed the work did an excellent job and paid close attention to detail. We are so happy with the way everything turned out and we receive nothing but compliments all the time. From the back patio to the landscape beds to the out cropping to the plant and tree selections to the retaining wall to the lighting, we could not be happier! We would highly recommend MJS and Tracy to anyone!

Our experience was amazing from start to finish with MJS! When going through the design I literally cried tears of joy seeing their vision of a true oasis. The layout, the trees/shrubs, and the colors chosen were spectacular. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed seeing the crew every day. Not only are they truly skilled at what they do, but they were friendly, professional, courteous, and kind. They displayed pride in their work and the end result is stunning!!! The details of the stonework, walkway, and stairs are truly impressive. We have a steep slope that many would say was a problematic concern, but MJS saw it as an opportunity to create something unique in design and THEY DID with detailed perfection! Friends and family say it feels like they are sitting at a resort while lounging on our patio or sitting around our stone fire pit. We enjoy our landscaping and patio daily!!! I highly recommend MJS!!

MJS did a fantastic job for us, from design through construction. David's vision for our property was even better than we could imagine. The construction crew was outstanding, very thorough, hard working and professional. Our friends and family continually complement our new landscaping.

We built a new home in 2015 and after going to the Home & Garden show that same year we had a difficult time really getting comfortable with any of the landscapers we spoke to. The last display we stopped at was MJS and finally spoke with someone (Bob) that we gelled with. He promised to have Landscape Designer, Tracy Jenks, get in touch with us to begin talking about landscape and patio design. Tracy was contacted us that next week and we started down the design path. Tracy was a pleasure to work with. She was patient with us and worked through the many modifications we had with the patio, had good design suggestions, was always very responsive and timely and worked through any concerns we had. Tracy met us at Halquist to work through options and was always willing to stop by our house to drop off samples of product. She also put together a 3D rendering of our project that helped us visualize the final product. The patio and landscape install process was painless, timely and without any major surprises. MJS' third party contractors (electric, etc) were also very professional. The final product was not inexpensive, Tracy was always very upfront about cost. What we're finding more and more (especially from our neighbors) is that it truly pays to spend a bit more and go with a pro where satisfaction is a high probability vs. a much less expensive semi-pro option where you may not be as happy with the final result and / or may have issues with follow up and overall responsiveness. I would not hesitate to recommend MJS, and Tracy Jenks, especially for hardscape patio design and finish. Thank you!

Tracy, our designer, walked us through the entire process with professionalism and grace. She was available whenever we needed her and always responded to our questions in a timely fashion. She took our vision (a couple who has never built a new home/had to do landscaping before) and made it reality. Even when we needed to cut a few items to stay within budget - she worked with us to make it happen. Ruben and his crew were wonderful to work with. They worked quickly and efficiently.
