About Us

Established in September of 2010. During the onset of a recession--it was then that Mike Lockling and Brian Nordlund ventured out to start their business. They decided to use their knowledge and vast experience in the woodworking industry to form a company that would allow them to build a future for their families and to build quality products that will last. The team at Made To Order Woodworks, LLC are committed to the highest quality craftsmanship and service the industry has to offer. Taking pride in their ability to meet deadlines and budgets without compromising artistry or service. It is their passion to work with individuals just like you and be part of your next project!

Made to Order Wood Works made our Hickory cabinets for our Kitchen, Bath and Mud Room. Not only is the Craftsmanship impeccable, Brian was so helpful in designing our Kitchen. I knew I wanted a Spice Rack, but we decided to have a Spice Drawer, and I love it. From start to finish everyone involved was wonderful. The Cabinet installers were so careful not to dent anything. And the Best Part is it was affordable to have a custom kitchen done. It was even less than going to one of the big Retail Stores. I would definitely recommend Made to Wood Works.

Excellent craftsmanship! Beautiful wood! Excellent custom install! Can't say enough good about this company. First contracted with them for my kitchen remodel, then wood trim and bathroom remodel, back again for more house and garage cabinetry. It's all custom and they do a great job with the design as well.

Working with Made To Order Woodworks made us appreciate the small things that are often lost in today's construction world. Brian always had the right guiding questions and timely creative options during the designing process to create exactly what we wanted. Although the finished project represented their attention to details, the materials used and their level of craftsmanship, more importantly for us, indicated their commitment to quality.

Made To Order handled all of the cabinetry work in our new home from design to installation. The quality of their work, attention to detail and follow up was outstanding. I highly recommend them. As an added bonus, they're great people and fun to work with.

I was more than impressed with not only the quality of the finished product, the level of detail from their installer, and their commitment to me. They were really easy to work and get along with. My original thought was I could do cabinets for $2-3k. In the end, because of them asking questions me on what I was looking for, it became very apparent that the cabinets were going to be just over $10k. Obviously more than I was trying to spend but in the end, now that they are installed, I'm trilled we spent the extra money to do it right.

Mike and Brian of Made to order woodworks are true craftsman in the custom cabinet market. They also have a vast range of style and detail they can provide, our firm hired them for three projects recently, ranging from a traditional Cape Dutch farmhouse with furniture grade cabinetry to a buildout of a modern lounge at the Tetherow clubhouse and unique reclaimed barn wood and rusted steel custom wine cellar cabinet. I hired Made to order Woodworks to build and install walnut cabinets on my kitchen remodel. The cabinets are beautiful and Brian designed a great layout. The installation went without any need for spacer strips, so the it shows just how professional the company is. The project finished a little late due to a few hick ups which were minor. These guys go all out with dove tail drawers , apple wood drawers, vener under cabinets, and dust covers on top. I am currently having Made to order Woodworks design a master bathroom vanity and saloon doors because of the outstanding job they did on my kitchen.

Made to Order Woodworks did all of our custom cabinets in our new home build that completed in December of 2015. That included the kitchen, mud room, den, master bedroom, master closet, and bathrooms. The work is stunning!! The precision is outstanding! Wish I could include pictures in my review. This team really knows what they are doing. No hesitation to use them again if the opportunity comes up. You will not be disappointed.

Made to Order Woodworks went above and beyond on my kitchen remodel. We had a huge addition done to our home and by far they paid more attention to detail than any other contractor we used. They took the time to make sure everything came out perfect, and made sure we were pleased with their service3 and products. The cabinets are very high quality and built extremely well. I couldn't be happier with them.

Made to Order Woodworks was referred to me by another builder and it has turned out to be my good fortune. We started with a full set of cabinetry in an exclusive cabin setting. From there we have finished another set of cabinetry for an unusual cabin built in the late 50's. All in all these boys can't be beat. Hope they will find time for me later.
