Nest Obsessed Interior Design

We had the pleasure of working with Claudia from 2016-2017 during the build of our Dream Home. I was convinced that I didn’t need to use a designer because I’m organized, have great taste, know what I want and after all, I had Pinterest’s help! Wrong. I knew very quickly that the scope of this house and the decisions to be made were far beyond me and I needed a professional. We hired Claudia after meeting with several designers and knew immediately that she was the best fit for our family and needs. She goes above and beyond for her clients, is very detail oriented, kept us on track with the timeline and thought of things I would have never thought about or known to even ask about. She was also able to keep the look of our house cohesive throughout every detail. She also helped us to stay on budget which is HUGE with so many moving pieces of the project. Claudia is also a good “hunter” and helped us to find the same look for less when needed and also was able to help guide us to know when to pull the trigger on a splurge worthy item. Out of the entire building process, from start to finish, my absolute favorite part was working with Claudia. She is worth every penny and helped save us so much money, time, headache and stress! When comparing the process of building with other friends that have also built, we often hear grumbling when speaking of the building process. We had the complete opposite experience and actually enjoyed it and I know Claudia is the reason why.

My husband and I repainted the interior of our entire home. We knew generally what colors we wanted, but were having a difficult time choosing exact shades. We did a color consultation with Claudia, and she came with a great personality and a wealth of knowledge. She knew how the colors would translate to our home and what would look the best. Most importantly, she made sure that we felt the colors were "us". Thanks to Claudia, our home is beautiful and feels like us.

Claudia is a pro. I love her designs and insights. She is a careful listener, interested in providing what I wanted and needed. Her design was excellent and she provided a "mood" board to connect me with the ideas and reality of the project. Then we fine tuned the budget and the project was beautiful, under budget, and Claudia personally helped with the finishing touches.

Nest Obsessed is absolutely amazing. Claudia has completed many projects for our successful real estate firm including designing our office space which we absolutely love. She has worked with many of our clients and they were all thrilled with her attention to detail and her talent in design and style. The thing I love most about working with Claudia is the way she has a natural ability to get a true sense of your style and transform your ideas into a space that is just what you wanted. Her professionalism and knowledge of product lines and color sense is impeccable. I highly recommend her!

The best thing we did in our recent house renovation was to hire Claudia Hardy. We had never used an Interior Designer, but not a week goes by where we don’t comment “Can you imagine what our house would look like if we hadn’t used Claudia?” We had the pleasure of working with her to completely renovate our kitchen, family room and 2 ½ baths from top to bottom. One thing led to the next and soon she helped update the entire downstairs with new paint colors, light fixtures, furniture placement/updates, etc. Claudia’s fresh ideas transformed our outdated house into a spectacular home that is beautiful, inviting, comfortable and highly functional. Claudia has impeccable taste, creativity and a real attention to detail. The smallest details and finishing touches in her designs make a room really stand out! She is incredibly patient, always taking the time to understand what we like before presenting multiple design options, including new possibilities we could never have dreamed of. This knack for taking us step by step through the design process helped us envision our space in an extraordinary new way. We can’t say enough about Claudia’s suggestions, recommendations and brilliant vision for our home. We will continue to use Claudia, even for the smallest projects, and recommend her to everyone!!

My husband and I just completed our one-year follow up punch list for the custom home we built last year, and it inspired me to share my thoughts about hiring an Interior Designer, and specifically, about hiring Claudia Hardy. As I look around my home (for which I am very grateful) I realize that I am head over heels in love with everything that Claudia inspired and designed, and the things I tried to do on my own…well, let’s just say I am still working on those things. When we started planning our home, I knew quickly that I would need some help with all of the overwhelming decisions and choices. A friend recommended Claudia and I knew she was the best choice for us. However, I elected to go with a basic design package rather than the all-inclusive package for budget reasons. If I had to do it over again, I would absolutely hire Claudia because she is beyond amazing, but I would definitely do the all-inclusive package. Claudia is worth every penny and she will actually save you money in the long run by helping you make good decisions and avoiding expensive mistakes. (For example, she recommended a specific color for our trim and ceilings, but I let the painter talk me into regular ceiling paint. It was a huge mistake that threw off the entire color scheme in the house. The regular ceiling paint came off as a dingy yellow and looked terrible next to the neutral greige wall color. I lived with it for one year but then had it changed to what Claudia originally recommended. That one mistake cost $480.) My advice to you if you are building a home is: 1) hire an Interior Designer (because you don’t know what you don’t know); 2) hire Claudia Hardy (she is talented, gifted, and she knows how to make your dream a reality); and 3) do the full package. Trust me when I tell you that she will actually save you money and you will LOVE the end result!!

Best thing I ever did was click Contact Me with Claudia!!! She always responded quickly and was a JOY to work with! After our first consultation she really understood what I wanted and was on point time after time. (Only glitch was wall color but that had more to do with Lowe's mixing it wrong. She made a different suggestion and it was Perfect.) After helping with my back room and totally redone bathroom, she's going to be the first, no the ONLY, person I call about updates to my kitchen or anything else. Plus, she's a really nice, patient and fun person. This was a case of getting exceedingly lucky with a designer. Can't say thank you enough.
