We are a full service awning and shading company established in 2004. Owner and Dallas native Don Vanicek has 30 plus years of experience in the shading industry. His extensive background and knowledge of shading products make Awnimation a sought after and frequently recommended company. www.shadeourworld.com is the "DIY" division of Awnimation. We specialize in retractable awnings, fixed awnings, interior and exterior screens, skylight and roofing systems. We have a vast portfolio of shading product options. We offer economical options and products for the discerning consumer. Awnimation is affiliated with the World's leading motorization and fabric manufacturers. We proudly serve the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas and look forward to assisting you with your shading needs. Our expert installers are also available to install or repair previously acquired products.

Don responded promptly to my inquiry about a Sunsetter retractable awning. He came to my home, measured & ordered the product. Installed 14 ft x 10 ft awning 3 weeks later to perfection. Jason & Jeremy, the installers, we’re highly organized, efficient & very knowledgeable about the product. These guys did an amazing job. Great company, easy to work with & very trustworthy. Thank You!

Don and Jason replied immediately to my initial request, they came out and measured for a custom awning within 24 hours, gave a reasonable quote, delivered and installed a few days early, picked up after themselves, and the awning looks great. What more can you ask?

These guys were true craftsman. They put up a 14' shade over our upstairs balcony. They made precise cuts into the eves which had vinyl siding to put up the brackets that hold the awing. Cuts were perfect. The shade cuts down the afternoon sun from the West. I would hire them back in a minute.

Don is who should should call for all your awning needs. Does what he says he will do and always calls back when you leave a message. Very easy to work with and very knowledgeable about his products. Did a great job after a hail storm replacing our awning and Don knew what to do when we called him!! Highly recommend!

Excellent product and such great service. Can't say enough about them. Recommend them highly. In my opinion, you can't go wrong if this is the type of product you are looking for.

Don came to house - recommended motorized awning - I agreed - gave me an approximate install date - which I thought was well within the time frame I wanted -- gave estimate of time to install and costs EVERYTHING was met and exceeded -- if only every contractor could be as professional and timely

Don with Awnimation has provided specialty screens on 2 of our lake houses and has done a fantastic job. Our latest home has a 20' automatic screen that works excellent. Professional Installation and quality results. We have some plans in the future that will require more specialty screens and we will use Awnimation.
