Parkwood Doors were subcontracted to make a set of sliding panel doors (without our knowledge) by a third party, Opening Doors ltd, whom we contracted to supply the doors. The product supplied by Parkwood Doors via Sliding Doors was unfit for purpose as the doors were twisted. Parkwood offered to remake the doors which we accepted. When the doors returned we found that they had not been remade but rather only the stiles had been replaced and they were still twisted and unfit for purpose. We would be uncomfortable recommending Parkwood doors as a supplier and will not be using them again.

Hello George,

This is very unfortunate because Parkwood has made it clear all along that we don't approve of the material and size specified and will not warrant it. At quoting stage we strongly recommended alternative materials but this was turned down. At the customer's insistence, Parkwood agreed to go ahead and make these over-size doors with no warranty. When the product arrived in Auckland, the customer was unhappy.

Although the doors had no warranty, Parkwood had them picked up, brought back to Wanganui, repaired, and sent back to Auckland, at our expense.

We can provide you with the quote and recordings of phone conversations to demonstrate that we have done our best to warn the customer and advise against it.

Great service from the team, Dean and Carver give great technical advice. When every I need any assistance your team are great. the only downside is the lead time, would appreciate a quicker delivery.( not on all doors some have great turn arounds)
