Outdoor Designers

After consulting with 4 other firms I settled on Outdoor Designers. While they were not the least expensive they were by far the most comprehensive and detailed in their proposal. My project consisted of a large addition of a 3 season room to my house. By 3 season I mean a convertible screen/vinyl window system for 2 walls with the other 2 walls tying into the existing structure. The interior consists of a porcelain tile floor over an insulated raised wood deck. The walls that abut the house are insulated, painted, T 111 wood paneled. The ceiling is a swirl painted insulated, moisture resistant wall board construction. The space comes with full electric consisting of lighted ceiling fan, outlets and switches. I chose to have the structure built on a raised platform to facilitate easy access from the interior of the house with access to the exterior through a storm door leading to a landing with 2 steps down to the side yard. The landing, steps and exterior lower walls are constructed of a composite material limiting maintenance to a bare minimum. As a result of my installation I have recommended, successfully, to several friends and neighbors to utilize Outdoor Designers. Overall the experience was great with schedules met very closely and expectations exceeding what I normally hear about with most contractors.

Their work is extremely professional and quality. Had a project that was difficult. Another contractor started it and it looked horrible. Called Outdoor Designers and they came and took it all down and made a much better design and it looked fabulous. It was definitely a custom job and they did quality work. The work they did has added thousands of value to our home.

Outdoor Designers built a beautiful screened in porch for my family that exceeded my expectations. The other estimate I received was more than double the quote that I received from Outdoor Designers and the job was finished within budget. The entire project took longer than I expected due to a wet summer and I told John at OD that he could have done a better job managing my expectations on the timeline, but once it was completed all was forgiven! I have received many compliments on my beautiful screened in porch!
