Progressive Furniture

I was really impressed with the M765 Cologne chair from Progressive Furniture. I had originally ordered this table on November 27. It showed as a pending charge on my account for two days and I never got a confirmation email; after the two days the pending charge went away and nowhere on the account did it show that I had made a purchase. I had assumed that the order had not gone through. So I purchased a different table from a different website. On December 8, a week and a half later, I receive a confirmation email saying that the table is going to arrive on December 14. I attempt to contact Houzz's return department to let them know I am no longer in need of the table. I receive an email on December 12, saying that they have just got my email and that it will take an additional 4-5 days since they are experiencing high volume. I never received the table or got an email about the refund so on December 31 I call Houzz and tell them the situation. They say that the table is sitting in a warehouse and I tell that that I have been trying to contact Houzz since the 8th. I tell them I no longer need the table and just want a refund. Instead of refunding the entire amount, they take $180 off for shipping...for a table that never arrived to my doorstep and sat in the shipper's warehouse... Not sure why I'm being penalized for their disorganization. Do not buy from here - go to Wayfair or one their sister companies. I have never had a problem like this with them (or any online furniture company).
