If I could give a negative star I would. Ken and crew never actually finished the job, we had to call in another metal siding guy to finish the work. We were never refunded. They also never came back to do any of the touch-ups that they said they would do. Ken doesn't seem to listen to what you want at the beginning before the contract is signed but will get it for you as an extra and up-charge. I could go on but my advise is to just stay away.

Our basement bathroom turned out good. It was getting there that was hard. Right from the beginning Ken would not communicate by the telephone, would not return calls, failed to attend site meetings, threatened to walk off the job, and would not follow his own schedule/timelines. We had a heart to heart just before the project started and he said he would meet me in the middle. I should have let his past actions predict his future performance as it went poorly for the 9 months it took to put in a basement bathroom. Note- I agreed to cost plus 20% on his contract because of his great references. Don’t be fooled. He will not provide subcontractor invoices on request giving question to his authenticity. He also writes a clause into his contract that the homeowner be responsible for his legal costs if there is a dispute.

We just completed a full upstairs reno and couldn't be happier! We initially engaged Revington to do a full gut job of our 1960s 4-level split. After working through all the plans with them life through us a few curve balls and we needed to scale back. Katie and Ken were fantastic with helping us figure out what made the most sense to do first and we decided to focus on renovating our entire upstairs which included a brand new ensuite, full main bath reno and updates to the three bedrooms. The reno took about 4 months and was on-time and on-budget. We're thrilled with the end product and the quality of the work. One of my favourite things about working with Revington is their attention to detail. There were little things that we would have never thought about like matching the colour of the hinges/closet bars/door stops to the colour of the door hardware we had selected. There project management tool Co-Construct is great for keeping everything in the same place and allowing for communication back and forth. We hired Revington Renovations to do an extensive renovation of our small, awkward kitchen and adjoining dinette. They (Ken) gave us good ideas and offered several alternatives that we had not found elsewhere. We were very pleased with the quality of work and and the close (and very useful) timetable posted on the Co-construct website. The tradesmen were all very pleasant and efficient.T he final result was everything we had hoped for.

We have just completed a laundry room reno with Revington Renovations and couldn’t be happier with the result. It was completed on time and on budget. We worked with Revington in 2018 to redo the main floor of our 4-level split house. This renovation included: - removal of a wall - a new kitchen (from Ikea) - new stair bannister - new flooring - scraping the ceiling (bye bye 80’s popcorn) - installing new lighting, - a new sliding door to our deck (which also meant sealing up a traditional door). Neither my husband nor myself had gone through a major renovation before so we knew we wanted to bring in people we could communicate well with who would understand our needs and be able to stay on a timeline and in our budget. In the very beginning we knew they would be right for us. Their initial quote was thorough and detailed and the only times we deviated from it were our own change orders for the project. Their use of the app Co-Construct was a fantastic way for us to stay knowledgeable and communicate with the team. They were responsive whenever we had concerns and quick to address them. In our 3 month renovation, we remained in the house with our two cats. They were very good at keeping things as clean and tidy as possible. With any renovation, there is the inevitable dust but they really did a great job at keeping the house in a condition that we could live with. Our main floor is now one large beautiful entertaining space and we could not be happier with the final results. We would use them for future projects again without hesitation and recommend them to all of our friends and family.

We recently had a main floor renovation completed by Revington. We are so pleased with the final result! Their attention to detail throughout the entire process from planning to finishing was excellent. We have a small child and were concerned about safety as we were living in our house during the whole process. Each night, floors were cleaned, tools put away and covered, and the space was closed off when possible. When a new window was being cut, one person was outside cutting into the wall while the other was inside with the shop vac following the path of the saw to reduce dust! We had new electrical throughout, a wall adjusted, new kitchen, mud room, a variety of shelving custom built, new flooring, patio doors converted from sliding to garden style, a window and all the big and little projects that go along. It was a 5-6 month process but we’ll worth the wait. I still can’t believe this is my house!

We hired Revington Renovations for our late 1960s 1 1/2 story home. Our project included ... 1. New flooring for the entire main level (the original flooring was a mashup of different hardwoods from several different renovations projects from the original owners); 2. Update an old laundry room (with new cupboards w/ countertop and laundry sink) 3. Combine the master bedroom with an adjacent smaller bedroom to create a new master sute/bathroom. 4. Build custom storage/organizational cubbies in the front and rear entrances. We were very impressed by Ken's professional and approachable nature, and how quickly we were able to get started! Katie (Revington's office/admin rock star) was our main contact when it came to keeping the project on-time and on-budget. Communication between Ken/Katie and all of Revington's employees and sub-trades was excellent and we never experienced any unwanted 'surprises'. Ken and Katie are the ultimate professionals. They were attentive, clear and helpful and I always felt like they had our best interests in mind. The online Co-Construct program was brilliant. It allowed us to easily track our budget, timelines, selections and provided one single online place where we could access everything related to our renovation. Ken and Katie were very prompt with their replies to our emails, texts and phone calls, we never felt 'out of the loop'. During the project ... 1. The worksite was cleaned up after every day of the job. 2. With the renovations being done in the middle of winter, our walks were shovelled every day which it snowed by Revington ... 'We like to think of this as our home when we are here'. 3. Revington employees and their sub-trades where not only very talented, but incredibly friendly and professional. They took the time to answer all of our questions, no matter how big or small. 4. From day one to the final day on the job, Ken and Katie were there to ensure the project was going well. Ultimately, the Revington team respected our home, they respected our family, and they took the extra time to get the smallest details of our job right. The final product came out great and we felt very engaged throughout the entire project. Our old house feels like new due to the custom quality work done by Revington. We are already planning more work for Ken and Katie in the future!!!

We hired Revington Renovations for our late 1970s split level upper floor: redoing our only full washroom and adding a shower onto our very small 2 piece en suite. We are first time home owners and first time renovators. After meeting with several contractors once we met Ken from Revington we knew this was the company we wanted to work with. We were very impressed by Ken's professional and approachable nature, and how quickly we were able to get started! We ended up adding on to our project, with new flooring, trim and doors throughout our upstairs and things still finished in the anticipated timeline! The finishes are impeccable. The co-construct app was really great: allowing us to track our choices for each selection for being over or under budget. All the suggestions for product selection and contacts really helped us along the way. Katie and Ken were so prompt with their replies to our messages or phone calls! Living through the renovation with small children was really easy with such an understanding and respectful company! We were very impressed with everyone's tolerance of a toddler's curiosity and questions on top of their amazing work and professionalism! Our house feels like new and we wouldn't hesitate in a second to work with Ken and Katie again.

Hiring Revington Renovations will be hands down the best decision you make when starting your renovation. When we set out to renovate our entire main floor, we had some ideas but really didn't know what we wanted. My wife watched a lot of HGTV and was looking for someone that could come in, understand her style and vision, and effortlessly produce something that would knock her socks off. The reality was different when we began our search and interviewed some contractors. But when we met with Revington we could tell right away they were something special. Their energy and enthusiasm for creative ideas was contagious, and they made the whole process so much easier. They offer in-house design and the layouts they came up with were very much what we were looking for. Hiring them was an easy decision and they definitely didn't disappoint. The quality of their work is simply outstanding. They demand perfection from themselves and it shows in the finished product. They even went so far as to relocate some pot lights by a few inches in the kitchen so that it aligned perfectly with the contour of our cabinets, when it would've been so easy to say "close enough" and avoid having to cut out drywall, move electrical boxes, and patch, prime, and paint all over again. My wife has a very discerning eye and can pick out the slightest imperfections and she was thrilled with the quality of their work. Just as importantly, Ken and Katie are fantastic people. They genuinely care about their clients and are amazing to work with. This goes for their subtrades as well and they were all so pleasant to work with. Ken and Katie care about giving you what you want and will work within your budget to make it happen. My wife and I were having some trouble making product selections that fit our budget, but Katie went out of her way to ensure that we were able to get what we were looking for. If there was something we liked, we'd send her a picture and she worked her magic with her many suppliers and more often than not was able to get exactly what we wanted and at a fantastic price. Our main floor renovation completely transformed our house and we were thrilled with the results. So thrilled that we hired them back to transform an under-utilized sun room on the second floor into a new master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a walk-in closet. We now have a house that we both absolutely love and will stand the test of time. If we ever have another renovation project (we're hoping to do the basement at some point) I already know that the only call I'll be making will be to Revington Renovations.

We hired Ken Wurtak as our general contractor this summer to do a major main floor and kitchen renovation. Each and every one of his workers was courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. Their workmanship was of a very high quality and when an odd problem did arise, Ken and is team were able to find a solution. We couldn’t be happier with the final results.
