Woodburn & Associates designed the landscape for my recently-renovated home in Southern Maine and it is spectacular! I renovated a waterfront shingled cottage & wanted a design that would reflect the history and character of the house. It does that perfectly with stone walls, terraces, loads of hydrangeas and other “cottage” plantings plus lovely landscape lighting that glows in the evenings. I could not be happier with my choice of Woodburn & Associates.

We hired Woodburn & Company in 2020 for landscape design services at our new home. As previous home owners we had some experience but needed professional insight. We worked with Vicky Martel who was very knowledgeable and insightful. A good listener, she understood what we wanted and assisted us in realizing that vision. She gave honest feedback and her depth of knowledge regarding the hardscape/grading, trees & plants and aesthetic design was extensive. We hired Robbi to help us transform our entire property. It had been an overgrown jungle and is now absolutely perfect. She was great to work with, listened to our ideas and how we wanted to use the space and came up with a design that met all of our needs and wishes; hardscaping, plantings and lighting. She was also very well versed in our local ordinances...which included a few challenges. Robbi was great and we are loving the results.

We bought an old house with a yard neglected for decades. It was completely overgrown (really, a jungle!) and the yard, 8 to 10 steps below the house elevation, was entirely disconnected from daily living. We recently engaged Robbi to develop a landscape plan for our entire property. The scope of the project included hardscape, softscape, plant and tree selection, irrigation and lighting. The process was efficient, thorough, economical and most importantly enjoyable. Robbi is a true professional and delightful to work with. She took our ideas and brought them to life on paper adding creativity and expertise along the way. When it came time to implement the plan, our landscape contractor had every piece of information they needed, including engineering details and all material, plant, shrub and tree specifications. There were no questions or missing details and everything came together on-time and on-budget, no small feat! Soon after the construction of our new home began, our architect suggested Robbi Woodburn & Co. as a Landscape Architect. We are so pleased with the final results of this collaboration.
