Rockman Millwork Windows & Doors

Similar issue as one of the reviews on here. Wont stand behind the product. It took 6+ months for warranty people to show up. They left the house torn apart, moldings taken off and destroyed, walls needed patching and new paint. I got stuck with the bill. Its been a year so far. Bill Knight as well as Jason Shulman are both masters ad deceiving, dodging phone calls and emails. Sad business practice.

My husband and I had been working on replacing our cheap looking white vinyl windows located in the back and on side of the house for over a year. We wanted to find windows that would match the original Hope steel casement windows that we had restored in the front of the house. I researched many providers and finally selected a couple, we were very particular about what we wanted and the project was not simple since this is an old house from 1926, in the end our project proved too complicated or too challenging for all except for Jason at Rockman. Unlike all the other professionals contacted, he took the time to ask all the questions and to understand exactly what we wanted, he explained what could be done, worked with the manufacturer to try to match best what we wanted, he replied to all our inquiries and did not get discouraged by all the curve balls that were thrown along the way. He and Dave went above and beyond to deliver a finished result that was beyond our expectations, and overall fit under our set budget. All the other providers contacted gave up after a few back and forth saying that it was too difficult and they would not be able to match our demands. But Rockman did, we have perfect beautiful aluminum clad wood windows that perfectly match our steel casement windows, and we are amazed by the end result. Jason went over all the details down to the spacing of the grid to match everything, he was so patient and understanding with us, always replying to my countless emails going over all my points and doubts one by one and guiding us expertly through all our choices. This makes all the difference, from our experience with Jason, it seems the employees at Rockman are truly experts at what they do, they really bring an added value to your project through their expertise and knowledge and they also take pride in their job and persevere in making your dreams come true. They also have good valued relationships with their manufacturers that proved really beneficial to our project. They are the only professionals I would trust for Windows & Doors, the results are outstanding and still within budget, not sure how they did it but we are ecstatic!

Rockman is an excellent company to work with. They have a good range of products that they are very knowledgeable about and they are always responsive in communications.

We did a major renovation and expansion of our 1891 Farmhouse. Our project specs called for replacing nearly all our windows and patio doors with Marvin windows and doors with Azek or Cedar trim including making exact duplicates of the lovely arched windows from 1891. Our contractor selected this company instead of Marvin as a subcontractor for the windows because he said they were similar quality and were about 5% cheaper. Unfortunately they are not Marvin quality. These are all softwood pine rather than low maintenance strong Azek or Cedar which my project called for. But more importantly, Rockman has been very unpleasant to deal with as they shown that they do not stand by their work and when they make mistakes on orders- they do not fix them. Several of the windows were delivered in the wrong size despite their reps measuring each window themselves. The Windows were delivered long overdue and several windows were delivered with hardware in the wrong finishes which only was partially rectified. The patio doors they installed were a totally different and much cheaper version than those detailed in the Project Specifications by my Architect. The arched windows- which really give the house character were delivered with an entirely different contemporary design and looked nothing like the original windows. The rep I worked with said he had made a mistake on ordering and would fix that asap. But 5 months later- I still have one boarded up window, the wrong patio doors, a mishmash of hardware finishes on my bedroom windows, and a jury-rigged arched window made to look semi-similar to the real thing. Those look terrible and they refused to fix them. The Rockman Rep blamed my General Contractor. My General Contractor blamed Rockman . I pleaded with Rockman to just please to finish the job and install all the correct decorative arched windows. They responded saying I wasn't their client - that my General Contractor was the client and that even though their product was in my house. After 7 emails and 5 phone calls over 5 months, I am now going to hire a Marvin Window rep to fix all the work that this company refused to stand behind

I choose Rockman Millwork to provide me with Lepage windows and doors for my home renovation. It was a major renovation and required new windows throughout the entire home in new openings. Jason Shulman is my point of contact at Rockman and has truly done a great job. I had a million questions re: the Lepage product and he took the time to answer them all. He worked closely with my architect and GC to make sure everything was correct in terms of measurements and timing. He visited the site to ensure correct installation and general condition of the product. Any servicing we've needed has been taken care of in a professional and timely manner. Donald has done the actual servicing for us - great guy and knows his stuff. It's obvious to me that Jason and his team take pride in their work and care about their customer.

We ordered fixed, double hung, casements and sliding glass doors from Jason at Rockman made by Lepage. We had one issue with the fixed windows and Jason immediately had the windows brought back to their shop, fixed and delivered back to us. Excellent operation, fair pricing and great service. Would definitely do business with them again.

I worked with Rockman Millwork on several projects, and I find them to be extremely proactive and helpful to work with. Jason is willing to learn about new technologies and is eager to stay relevant and competitive in a quickly changing market. Problems always arise in projects, so the test is how well a representative responds. Jason and Rockman Millwork have always worked hard to resolve problems and make them go away. The follow-up and attention to detail are what really sets them apart from their competition.

Rockman Millwork was selected to provide all the windows and french doors for this project which was an extensive renovation of a Victorian house. The team at Rockman Millwork was responsive with any requests whether for samples, pricing or question clarifications. Their pricing for the product, LePage Windows and French doors, was very competitive, which is one of the reasons why we've used them several times now. Their product was delivered within the time frame that was promised and without issue. When we had a couple of issues arise on site, with glass that cracked during the construction process or a specific unit that was ordered in the wrong size, the team at Rockman Millwork responded quickly and professionally to address the issues. We look forward to working with them on more projects in the future.

Our Engineering firm has used Rockman Millwork to obtain several proposals and has hired them for projects. They are very professional, efficient and thorough. They came with samples and quotes within days of our requesting.

I purchased several LePage French doors with Emtek hardware from Jason Shulman at Rockman Millwork. All the products they offer are of the highest quality and Jason was extremely helpful in matching the best products for our conservatory, mud room, wine cellar and garage addition with the style, construction materials and budget of the project. He also managed our expectations on the time needed to make the doors and was diligent in keeping us informed on the progress. They were delivered on time and Jason came to the job site to make sure the doors and hardware were exactly what we had expected. When we had an issue with a gasket in one hardware piece he immediately delivered an additional gasket and made sure there were no additional issues. They did a terrific job!! They're real pros and we will be using them for our next project!!

They back up everything they sell 100% and respond immediately if there is a problem or issue regarding any aspect of the product (typically LePage Windows and Doors).
