About Us

Rogan Nash Architects is an award-winning Auckland based architectural and interior design practice providing boutique design with exceptional service. Our creative team delivers innovative and flexible design solutions that support sustainability wherever possible. We focus on new houses, additions and alterations, small commercial projects and hospitality. Rogan Nash Architects is an NZIA Practice member. Rogan Nash Architects was founded by Kate Rogan and Eva Nash. Both Kate and Eva are registered architects in New Zealand and members of the New Zealand Institute of Architects. They are Professional Teaching Fellows and critics of Design at the University of Auckland School of Architecture. They both have international architectural experience and are widely published including HomeNZ, Your Home and Garden, Urbis, Sunday Star Times’ Sunday Magazine and Houses. As well as architecture, Eva’s passion lies in design and particularly in sustainable design (in which she has a Masters Degree) and Kate is also interested in interiors and furniture and was Home Design Editor for Sunday Star Times’ Sunday Magazine.

Great ladies who listen! The perfect combo of pushing design coupled with practical living solutions! Would use Eva & Kate again in a heartbeat.

Rogan Nash renovated our two bedroom cottage by adding a new living room, and two bedrooms, including a master bedroom suite. Their design also incorporated an outdoor living area and new kitchen. Eva and Kate were full of great ideas and experienced in full scale renovations. The final product is both livable and stylish.

This is the second time I have worked with crew from Rogan Nash & for good reason! I always found design meetings very inspiring. Based on aesthetic, functional & budget criteria given to the architects, they always came back to me with a variety of very discerning and well thought out approaches to the project. Recommendations for materials, finishes, colors, use of space, & design suggestions made it evident that, throughout the process, the architects listened very carefully to what I hoped to achieve as an end product. I've loved working with these very intelligent, approachable and insightful women and I love my new studio. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

Rogan Nash have completed two significant renovation projects on our house over the last five years. The intelligent thinking behind the designs has delivered us spaces that are not only visually beautiful but are a joy to live in. On top of architectural designs Rogan Nash also provided beautiful interior design. Finally, Kate also blurred the line between architect and project manager during the build working directly with the builders ensuring that the quality was optimum without impacting on the price. A great experience all round with a fantastic outcome.

Rogan Nash have undertaken extensive redesign of the main living areas on our character Stucco Bungalow in Remuera. The latest project, currently underway is a complete revamp of the Lounge and dining room. This has involved advice on room layouts and colour scheme, selection and procurement of furniture, lighting, new fireplaces, shutters etc and liaison with sub-contractors. All work has been carried out to our complete satisfaction.
