Roundtree is a general contracting firm that has had the privilege of building some of the finest homes in Vermont for wonderful owners. We work with leading architects, both local and based throughout the country, to bring unmatched craftsmanship, unrivaled attention to detail and the best that building science has taught us about performance to all of our projects. Our project was to rebuild our small cottage into a Lake House. While our project may have been smaller in scope then others in Roundtree Construction’s extensive portfolio, Ric and his team took it on with the same degree of professionalism that they approach a much larger job. The site and maintaining to a existing foot print presented challenges, but Roundtree worked well with our architect to deliver. The Roundtree crew that build our Lake House were professional, respectful and beyond all else, skillful craftsmen. The quality and meticulous detail that they put into our home has blown us away. Now that we have settled in, our Lake House continues to amaze us. Thank you to the entire Roundtree team.

Before we initiated our builder search, my heart was set on having a well-known contractor based in Saratoga Springs, NY to oversee the major renovation of our family lake house. Yet, I knew the importance of researching the potential contracting companies while having them understand our vision and scope of work. With that in mind, we did our homework and found a number of reputable builders in the area. Initially, we learned of Roundtree Construction on Houzz. After meeting with the Dan and Ric, we became thoroughly impressed with their portfolio, expertise, attention to detail and, most importantly, their philosophy of working closely with their clients. The personal attention, high level of quality and service from all members of their team, including office and onsite members resulted in an exquisite home far beyond what we ever imagined. We will cherish this home for many years as well as the relationships that were built through the process. We look forward to working with Roundtree Construction on future projects.

Roundtree Construction did an amazing job building our home on a challenging site. They are consumed with attention to detail and customer satisfaction. We ended up with an award-wining, energy efficient home that reflected our unique taste and lifestyle. No detail or request was too big or too small. They met deadlines, kept me informed about the budget as the project progressed (no surprises at the end!!!) and had a talented and professional staff that worked well together and with me. Perhaps the best part about working with them is how much they welcome your ideas and feedback. The Roundtree Construction team brought our home building project to fruition with the utmost of professionalism. Throughout the process of building our contemporary home, Roundtree proved themselves to be expert problem solvers for whom no detail was too small to execute with perfection. Their own crew, as well as all sub-contractors, approached the project with care and respect. In a timely fashion, and within budgetary constraints, we were delivered a high quality home by a team who seemed to love working on the house. Most importantly, we feel as though we can rely on the folks at Roundtree and their sub-contractors to be available to us for help in the future should the need arise.

Commented: hello who is the architect?No. The design firm for that project was Truex Cullins Architecture from Burlington, VT and the landscape design was from Wagner-Hodgson also of Burlington, VT.
