Rachel contributed a wealth of creativity, attention to detail, and technical expertise to our full house renovation project. Her involvement spanned from front-end design to vendor and material selection, infusing the entire process with great energy and talent. As we considered opening up our kitchen to the dining room, Rachel proposed a solution that facilitated an open flow while ensuring we didn't compromise on storage and counter space. In addition, she reconfigured multiple bathrooms, an office and mudroom to optimize space and meet our goals, all while preserving the charm of our old home and enhancing its livability.

Rachel helped our family reimagine our kitchen/dining space. She guided us through turning a clunky old space into two new beautiful, highly functional spaces. We went into the project thinking we were going to upgrade our kitchen and ended up also adding a mudroom including a pantry closet and a powder room! This was all done within the existing footprint of the house. It feels like we bought a new house! As a family with two small boys and working parents we asked Rachel to provide both design and project management services. She connected us with a great general contractor and necessary vendors who she coordinated with throughout the project. I was looking for a kitchen designer to completely remodel my kitchen and reached out to Rachel for the same. Rachel started off with a couple of initial discussions with us to understand what I was looking for and my vision for the kitchen. After a few discussions Rachel came back with multiple designs for the kitchen that she explained to us. We had some personal preferences that Rachel considered and updated the designs a few times while explaining the pros and cons of each option. She was very patient and helpful talking through our numerous questions and clarifying our doubts (this is our first time working on a house project). We had a timeline for project completion, Rachel worked with various vendors for cabinets, hardware, countertop and others to have the supplies ready that would work for our timeline. Rachel worked closely with us providing various options and helped us with the selection of cabinets, hardware, countertop, appliances, and kitchen flooring. Rachel also helped us find the contractor whose team was great. There are a few items that I was not sure but went ahead with Rachel’s advice and each one of them turned out to be great. Rachel totally redesigned the space and made it a convenient, efficient and modern kitchen. I love my kitchen and am enjoying it. Rachel is very meticulous and detail oriented while keeping the vision in mind. It has a been a great experience working with Rachel and am happy to have worked with Rachel for my project.

Rachel recently helped with the design of our kitchen and the design for a dry bar in our dining room. It was a very large project and we really valued her expertise along the way. I recently worked with Rachel on our kitchen remodel and would recommend her to anyone looking to do the same. We left the existing perimeter cabinets (which we had painted), but updated everything else. This came with a lot of moving parts and coordination. She recommended a contractor whom she has worked with on many projects, and he was exceptional from start to finish. Her sources were all wonderful and very talented, from the cabinet painter to the floor person. She was always available for a quick text to go over anything from lighting to hardware and beyond. Going into this project the most overwhelming aspect was figuring out how to outsource and coordinate all of the people involved on this project and she took that burden away from me making the kitchen renovation as easy as possible. I reached out to Rachel to help with the main floor of our new home at . We needed help with buying furniture, window treatments and also figuring out how to maximize the space we had. We weren't sure how best to use the rooms to best suit our lifestyle. I was a little nervous reaching out to a decorator as this was my first time, but Rachel could not have been nicer. She gave great suggestions, answered all my questions, was available to meet when needed, and she was mindful of our budget and our needs. We could not be happier with the results. She had the suggestion to use one of the rooms as a bar and we even figured our a way to integrate my husband's homebrewing and added 2 beer taps - it has been perfect for entertaining! Rachel worked with us for over a year to renovate our home, which was taken down the studs and completely rebuilt. She worked with the architect on the blueprints to ensure every aspect of the design would be functional and align with our interior design needs and choices. We ended up with a much better design because of Rachel’s input. She then worked directly with the contractor to oversee the project and provided field advice along the way to the builder, plumber and electrician. Rachel not only designed our kitchen and bathrooms, but guided key decisions on the electrical layout, fireplace style, flooring and built-ins. Rachel designed a beautiful custom bar and serving area in our dining room and she designed an entertainment cabinet system for our media room. Finally, Rachel. guided all the interior design decisions, including paint colors, tiling, furniture, and window treatments. Our new home is beautiful and highly functional because of Rachel’s expertise and partnership in the rebuild. Rachel charged us by the hour and her overall fees were reasonable for the services we received. She provided us with choices, pros and cons, and worked within our budget. Rachel is also willing to consult on smaller jobs as well. For example, she visited the home of a friend and advised simply on paint colors. I would use Rachel again and recommend her highly. Two years ago, I found Rachel on Houzz and I am so glad I reached out for help. From the first call, Rachel has been with me on a two-year journey to renovate our entire home. As a busy professional, I knew I would have limited time to devote to the project and that is where Rachel excels. She put together the kitchen/bath design. She managed the contractor selection process and acted as the point of contact for contractor onsite decisions/questions. She did the legwork and walked me through the process of selecting plumbing fixtures, cabinets, flooring, tile, countertops, paint colors, and lighting so that I did not spend hours walking through showrooms and big box stores. Rachel's expertise and huge network of suppliers/vendors (e.g. closet installers, window treatments, appliances) also ensured materials were onsite and ready for installation at the right time. This was especially hard to do with a renovation project started at the height of a pandemic but somehow everything worked out fine. The main renovation is done but I will continue to rely on Rachel for design and decorating advice. She really is that good.

Rachel's vision for my kitchen layout was invaluable. I had many entries to the kitchen and had a hard time imagining how to best open up the space. It was instantly obvious to Rachel. Without her vision, I would've ended up with a less than fabulous kitchen space. I liked the flexibility of leveraging her expertise when needed, or being able to handle part of the renovation process myself.
