Patch Work Architecture

Patch Work Architecture is comprised of two designers - Ben Mitchell-Anyon (LBP, Design) and Sally Ogle (Registered Architect, NZIA). Between us we have a wide range of experience, on jobs large and small, both residential and commercial. Patch Work Architecture was formed in late 2011, when along with Tim Gittos (now of Spacecraft Architects) we left our jobs in Wellington, moved to Whanganui, and launched into building a small house named the DOGBOX. We wanted to connect our theoretical and drawn understanding of architecture with the craft of building. A year later, the DOGBOX was finished, and had picked up a couple of accolades along the way - winning the Work-in-progress section at the Cavalier Bremworth Unbuilt Architecture competition, and being selected as one of six finalists in HOME magazines Home of the Year 2013. We're interested in creating beautiful, efficient, warm, economical spaces that suit their purpose and location.
