Seidler Group

We have been in our Seidler Group built home now just over 12 months after taking them 28 months to complete the build and we are still going through the legal avenues to have numerous items listed in the contract that were never installed (fences & phone line) or items such as a pattern paving concrete, where the pattern is flacking off. Not to mention the concrete pattern is patchy in colour throughout the job, nor is it running straight to the driveway. Firstly I had these inspected a local building inspector. Secondly by a more professional inspection company by the name of Buildspec, which I highly recommend. Then thirdly by the Victorian Building Authority, without a member of Seidler Group present, although invited by the DBDRV. The DBDRV found these items incomplete or of poor workmanship and have since advised us on how to take the matter further once the courts reopen from Covid-19 as Seidler Group seem to have no interest in resolving the issues.

This is our second home that Chris Seidler and his team have designed and built for us. We are extremely happy with the process and the final result of the first home and the second home. Chris and his team are very professional, responsive and listen to your requirements to ensure they are met. After the build, Chris has also addressed any issues that we may have had - promptly and efficiently. The Seidler Group are always a pleasure to work with and have built a home we love!
