About Us

Creating interiors that reflect a client’s personality and lifestyle is the major goal while enjoying the satisfaction of having them go “WOW” once the project is complete. Sylvia is a Licensed Interior Designer #5105 with the State of Florida. She is National Certified thru NCIDQ # 020864. She has written articles for the Palm Beach Post on In-Home Office Designs, articles in Real Estate News on selections and working with Interior Designers. She received an Award from Who’s Who in Interior Design and Designer of the Year. Sylvia was an Associate Professor at Palm Beach State College teaching Interior Design for 11 years. Her professional experience involves a diverse range of projects including commercial and residential interiors. Her broad knowledge of manufacture’s design styles and capabilities allows the development of a customized and complete interior design scheme for each project. Sylvia stays current on design trends in the market place. Sylvia Fountain attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she received Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. She has over 28 years of experience in commercial and residential design. She has worked for some of the most prestigious architectural, interior design firms and builders in South Florida.

Sylvia is a true professional! She did an outstanding job on my complete home renovation. She organized a schedule and her and her team ran my project in a timely and efficient manner. I have already referred her to several of my friends. I would highly recommend her for her design concepts and project management.

We have worked with Sylvia for over 20 years on multiple projects in now our third home. We keep on coming back to Sylvia as she is so easy to work with, has great design style, helps manage husband/wife design disagreement, is accessible and easy to work with. For our recent project, Sylvia acted as project manager for a major remodel project, bringing in her own subs and managing a very tight schedule. She did a great job, keeping our project on schedule and on budget. I highly recommend Sylvia.

SF Interiors and its owner, Sylvia, just transformed my place from a nice looking house to a stunning home. Sylvia’s job was made all the more challenging by the fact that I resided out of state through most of the project, but that didn’t even slow her down. After our initial consultations to determine the scope and direction of the job, Sylvia kept me constantly informed via email, text, photos and phone calls. Her teams were professional, respectful and neat. She was conscientious of my neighbors and neighborhood, which makes moving in a much more pleasant experience. Far and away, SF Interiors is the perfect choice for your project, big or small.

Sylvia has now helped me through my second home renovation. Her experience and eye for detail and color choices are a must for any project. Remodeling during the holidays is a challenge but she makes remodeling fun! I highly recommend SF Interiors!

We hired Silvia, from SF Interiors, during the construction of our new home. The investment we made to have her guidance early on in the process was invaluable. She took time to fully understand our vision and worked closely with us from kitchen and bathroom design to lighting, window treatments and furniture. The result is a beautiful coastal retreat that we love! I highly recommend Silvia to anyone building, remodeling or simply redecorating. She is not only a very talented designer but she also gets things done right and on schedule.

Sylvia did an excellent job managing the project, her coordination of all the contractors and schedule was outstanding and invaluable. She was able to transform my house in less than 6 weeks, and on budget. And she was always able to find a middle ground between my husband and I, as we have different style and color preferences. I would highly recommend Sylvia and would hire her again to do more decorating and remodeling work.

Sylvia is a truly gifted interior designer. I bought a small condo built in the '70's with woefully small bathrooms and closets. Sylvia, with practical and elegant design ideas turned this condo into a fabulous home for me. It is a joy to walk into my luxurious bathroom and large walk in closet. She is smart, cost conscious and easy to work with. She listened to every idea and wish and absolutely nailed it

I met sylvia the first time and.I knew that I was going to hire her. She asked what I wanted to do with my house. She listened carefully. Then she discussed what she was going to do ie her ideas ...plan, process etc. The renovation took 2 months and the finish was absolutely beautiful! Sylvia listened to my ideas too & she explained when it might not be a good thing! The result was awesome! The whole experience was very exciting! I am very happy!

I have been working with Sylvia Fountain for four year. She is creative, savvy, and responsible, and so much fun. She has helped me put together a home that is unique and reflective of my style, I appreciate that she has found a way to incorporate my more traditional pieces with the new, transitional look that she has designed for me, and that I love Sylvia is careful with client resources. She always knows where to splurge and how to conserve without sacrificing quality or the total picture. Sylvia has done everything from designing and overseeing the construction of my new kitchen to placing and hanging photos on my picture wall. She does it all and with a smile. I love Sylvia!

Wall to wall furnishing/decor; plus window/floor/door replacement and bathroom cabinet upgrade for an empty high-rise condo. Project included acquiring furniture for all rooms, area rugs for the dining room and living room, wall art throughout, replacing sliding glass doors on two balconies, replacing lights, adding fans, glare screens, venetians, recarpeting and reflooring. Designer is personable, knowledgeable, conscientious, trustworthy, customer-focused and eager to promote USA-made.

We engaged with Sylvia for our Kitchen/Master remodel after interviews with several designers. We selected her based on 1) a review of her portfolio 2) references and 3) her fun yet professional style. We knew we would be spending a great deal of time with this person, so personality was a key. Sylvia helped demystify the entire process, providing both design and project management services. She came with interesting designs, ideas and a host of contractors that helped get the job done. She was excellent at managing the contractors to completion. As a project manager myself I understand that every project is going to hit bumps, its is how you deal with them that makes the difference. Any time that we hit a bump, Sylvia approached is professionally, prepared with options. We love our new kitchen and Master and have Sylvia to thank for that!!
