Shada Build and Design

Shada Build and Design is amazing! With Steve Shada at the helm, he and his team were wonderful to work with from start to finish: from initial consultation through brainstorming, proposal and implementation straight through to completion of the project. We gutted some existing shelving units and reconfigured and built them so they accommodated specific needs of the client and modern technologies and upgraded the styling so that it is in keeping with the clients overall home aesthetic. Steve brought a lot of great design ideas to the table and explained some of the nuances of his work that helped me be better informed for my next client interaction. With two small children, the clients were especially concerned with the mess that would be created but Steve's team perfectly tented the area and the clients were impressed and pleased with the low impact the work-process had on their home. Overall, the clients were wonderfully pleased with the entire process and certainly the end product! You can't go wrong if you bring Shada Build and Design onto your project.

We hired Steve Shada to design and build a custom Point of Sale display cabinet for our retail store. We are a small bicycle shop and needed a cabinet that would give us a lot of functionality in a small footprint, while looking beautiful -of course! The end result is the focal point of our shop and we receive customer compliments every day on the design. The cabinet acts as sales counter, display case and functions as storage for commonly re-stocked items such as tubes and lights. We couldn't have been happier with the experience of working with Steve. He was patient throughout the design process and even helped us with delivery and installation (when we decided we would need help at the last minute!) We would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again on future projects.

Steve Shada was wonderful to work with. He was knowledgeable, honest, and the project came in on budget and ahead of schedule. He is a very clear and detail oriented person. He cares very much about the quality of the products he uses and does a good explaining why an idea will work or not and what the options are. The installation process could not have gone easier or looked better. We were very very happy and impressed. Every question I ever had was answered in an intelligent manner. He cares so much about doing the best quality job, being on budget, and on schedule that I would suggest that people be prepared themselves about their own schedule with their contractor and that they have a good idea of what appliances they want. I was so impressed how meticulous he was about setting up the cabinets in his shop. It was staged on a perfectly level platform. Steve had the appliances there so he would be positive that what he built would fit perfectly. I'm very glad we went with Shada Build and Design. I never had to worry about the quality, craftsmanship, or schedule. He knows what he is doing and wants to create a good business. I'm glad we can support it.

Steve is a consummate professional. He's got incredible attention to detail and the highest integrity in his work. I worked with him on a job where he was doing trim carpentry and cabinet installation. He was so well regarded, that he became the de-facto superintendant for the job, supervising other trades and work far beyond his scope. It's rare that exceptional skill and character reside in the same person, but Steve is one of those people.
