I fell in love with Lisa over the course of our job. She’s honorable and a lovely human being who you can count on. She’s a very talented designer and contractor all rolled into one. Not lacking in either of those areas; a top notch designer and I’d put her up against any of my contractors that I use in Los Angeles. Her subs are all high quality / skilled. She’s detail oriented. Great visibility and has a knack for maintaining project momentum. If I was planning on buying and completely gutting another 6000 square-foot house in Park City, I would not be leaving this referral as I would want to keep Lisa all to myself.

She is amazing at her job and so easy to work with!! We just completed the building of a 6200 square foot house in Utah while we resided in florida. Lisa did a beautiful job with the interiors. Highly recommend!

If you want details, keep reading. If you're just looking to make a decision, hire her; you will not regret it. Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing. I planned to play hard ball. I planned to not become friendly with the contractor, because I knew that I'd be taken advantage of.. but I wasn't. After prior contractors left a bad taste in our mouth, we couldn't have expected the level of care that we were presented with, right out of the gate. She showed up on time to our initial appointment, she walked the house with us, and she listened to everything that we had in mind. She was able to set a realistic expectation of what desires could be met in the space, and offered better solutions to various issues than we had considered. We left our initial meeting knowing that we had found our GC. The project ended up being all of the down stairs and the upstairs bathrooms and our home gym. This work included both exterior and interior, where exterior work was done in the hardest winter Utah has seen in decades, if not ever. But the work went on. The interior was done where Lisa kept us in the existing kitchen for as long as possible. She would have completed the new kitchen while leaving the existing one, had we not decided to just rip off the bandaid and be done with it. She weaved her contractor time tables from one job to another masterfully, and we had very little downtime between portions of the job. She was flexible when we needed flexibility and she even managed to save us money by timing purchases when the market was best suited for them. She was available via text or phone when we needed, had a concern to be assuaged, or needed a slight change; she rolled with each punch and pushed back with experience where it was good to do so. She effectively remodeled our entire home, moved the kitchen, made rooms that didn't exist previously, built a new fireplace wall, removed doors, windows, walls, reflowed, painted, installed new plumbing, hardware, installed a not previously existing A/C system. Basically, she built a house inside of our exterior walls, and did so in nine months. It would have likely been faster if we'd have been out of the way, but remember what I said about flexibility. We now have a stunning home. It completely transformed. I hope that Lisa uses the before/after photos to brag about what a transformation this house went through. Southwestern style to Mountain Modern, if not more on the Modern side. It's a beautiful home that we're thankful for. It's absolutely functional. It realizes the promise of what the exterior of the house was built for. Beyond this wonderful home, we now have an extended family of people.. Lisa and her entire crew, who were so friendly, so easy to work with, and so appreciative of the work we were giving them, as we were of the work they were doing, that we know that we'd be happy to call all of them our friends. Lisa and Heather are incredible. True professionals with extremely thoughtful suggestions that were considerate of and made the most of our budget. Our renovation included a new in-law suite, primary bedroom, bathroom and living room. While it was being done we were on the East coast. Wall were fully draped, zippered door access to the whole area was provided as well as assuring furnishings in adjoining areas were fully protected. Lisa helped me with my second home near Park City, UT. Had outstanding vision and ideas and worked within my budget. Always available and easy to work with. Hiring Lisa is the best decision a homeowner with a renovation or design project can make. She did an excellent and professional job in every phase of our remodel project including: working with us on design concepts and finishes, providing accurate and timely budgets as well as managing the project from demolition to scheduling subcontractors to managing the timely flow of material to following up on every little detail of the project until completion. Lisa was hands on every step of the way and always accessible and transparent in communications. Her stable of subcontractors not only did excellent work, they are easy and good people to work with. Our Condo Association is very particular about how big construction projects must be conducted; Lisa and her team executed within stringent rules perfectly. Bottom line.. After one FaceTime consultation with Lisa about a long distance remodel, I knew our vacation home was in good hands. Lisa worked within our budget to create a welcoming and warm home environment in our vacation condo. The items chosen are sturdy for renters and comfortable to feel like home when we are there. Unique lighting and design choices were key to the new look. Lisa was easy to work with and with a few phone conversations and a design board we made a few modifications and got to work. New paint, carpet, furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork and bedding were all done. I highly recommend Lisa- I trusted a person I never met with my condo key, lots of $$$ and our vacation home, and she did not disappoint!! We were finally able to meet in person in June when the project was complete and we made it to Park City.

Lisa Shearer was a joy to work with! She was professional, listened well to our needs and wants, brought creative ideas and design suggestions to the table and was a great communicator. We wanted a full kitchen remodel and to get new flooring throughout the entire main level. We ended up remodeling the whole main level that included the kitchen and bathroom and then redoing tile in the entry and fireplace. Also new blinds and paint. She was flexible with changes we made throughout the project. Very efficient at getting the product choices and design. The work moved along quickly but did end up slowing with the final finishes. The subcontractors were professional and did great work. The finishing work on the tiling could have been a bit more clean and finished looking but did get resolved. Overall I love the finished product! My home looks totally different and beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Shearer Designs!

Lisa organized and ran our full remodel in our home, even to the last detail of decorating. Lisa and Her Team are amazing! She was easy to work with and provided excellent customer service and advice through the entire process. I am a Real Estate Broker and see hundreds of homes a year. I have many Contractor friends that I could have chosen but I ended on Lisa because she not only focused on the Style we liked but she was passionate about getting this right for us! Lisa's product is as good as any out in the market. She was very detail oriented and takes the time to truly understand your vision and apply it to your home. Our home was a built in 1969 with several additions. Lisa transformed the living area into a grand gathering area. She recognized the possibility of vaulting the ceilings which changed the entire dynamic of the remodel and didn't cost us much more. Her contractors were very respectful as we were living in the home during the remodel. No detail was left undone. My wife and I both work very long hours and Lisa was willing to meet with us day or night in order to meet our busy schedules. She also was great about working with me on some of the things that I wanted to do to cut costs. She was consistently reviewing the expenses vs the budget and giving excellent ideas on how to cut costs but not quality. She was a hound dog in finding sales and bargains that helped drive down costs as well. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice to have Lisa on board as part of the team. Lisa is friendly, personable, and great to get along with. I see so many homes in a day I was really struggling with identifying MY STYLE! Lisa was able to coach me into the things that I really like. She navigated the differences between my wife and I. She was extremely diplomatic helping us get to the solutions. I have worked with Lisa on a couple remodels now and she is incredible. She walks through each space with you and helps determine what would be the most practicul use of space all while helping me determine a specific style. She is great because she not only has knowledge of the design world but she can cost effectively bid out the construction side as well.
