As a builder I have had the pleasure of building a few of Steve’s designs. The details and thought gone into these designs have made it an ease to build with the backing of Steve for any questions. Because of this I had Steve design my own house and couldn’t be happier with the outcomes both as a client and a professional.

Steve delivered on our brief for our home. Being local to us was certainly helpful given much of the design process was done during lockdowns. He took on board our conceptual plans and took the time to understand our needs and wishes. Steve produced a design that is well suited to the site, meets the requirements for BAL 29, energy ratings etc and that we are delighted with. Steve also introduced us to a local builder that he felt was the best fit to work with us and who would deliver a quality finish. Construction is underway and we are excited to see the build progressing.

Steve is as creative as he is precise, a great combination. He took us through a bespoke design, taking on board our requirements and imparting his experience in equal measure. He was patient in answering our questions and took the time to work with us on all the details.

This is a review for Steve Laux Building Designs who gave us at Joining The Dots an art studio. Steve Laux Building Designs we found very professional, and they knew what they were advising with guidance and understanding particularly with the needs and wants of the structure being asked. Steve came within a timely manner to discuss things and start gathering information. He took plenty of time with us to ensure he got what he he needed to come back with some ideas with creativity. This was especially with things we had not considered. Ongoing supports was not a problem, especially dealing with our anxiety to the whole project when items and decisions needed to be changed as the plans started to unfold.and there was never a concern if things needed to to moved or not. Steve was there to advise, explain and calm the waters of the project being purposed and this enabled a very trusting relationship. Steve offered open and transparent conversations with honesty and offered advice and reason if things would not sit well or not be approved by local council. Steve has a friendly, gently and caring manner which stems into his professionalism approach of working with his clients. We never used a designer before in our life. This is probably because we never had the chance to build a house, but we must say that we are blown away by Steve Laux and his Building Designs.
