Studio Schubert

We had a fabulous experience with Marek and his team at Studio Schubert. He undertook the complete renovations of our apartment and was fully engaged from start to finish. Since the project was being monitored by us long distance, Marek took full charge and shouldered every responsibility with care and promptness. From providing drawings for the initial layouts, assisting us in getting permissions, shortlisting materials for final selection (based on our budget), ordering and receiving materials to sending weekly progress updates via video, he was extremely responsive throughout. He maintained his schedule and the apartment was handed over promptly. We are extremely pleased with the way in which the entire apartment has come together. I must make a special mention of his amazing contractor Martin and his kitchen expert Julia – both of them were fantastic! We also got some bespoke shelving designed and executed by Julia which has worked very well for our use. Right through the process, Marek paid great attention to detail and suggested several practical options for us in our bathrooms and kitchen. The apartment was handed over some months ago, yet Marek continues to be available for any minor issues that come up which he handles very promptly. I cannot recommend Studio Schubert highly enough. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our kitchen and bathroom renovation designed by Marek and his Team. These were small, awkward rooms to work with, but their beautiful design solutions have created an immeasurable new feeling of space. The quality of finish achieved in both the building works and bespoke joinery was exceptional, and the entire crew were a pleasure to have around from start to finish. Marek & his team were phenomenal with understanding our needs, conceptualise what we couldn’t put into words & deliver a fantastic functional home for us within a relatively short timeframe. My husband & I did not have a lot of time to dedicate to our home, and gave Marek and his team a lot of free rein and the result was honestly incredible. Everything down to the finer detail, the flow of the rooms & maximising storage. We truly appreciate the project management aspect of his role as well, as coordinating with our building manager for the electric, plumbing and installing a Sky dish which was no easy task! You can tell Marek is genuinely passionate and cares for his clients & he was always on hand and easy to talk to. As with any project unexpected occurrences can happen, but we never felt stressed as Marek was always there with a solution. We were extremely impressed with Marek and appreciate that he is still available to us even after a year of completion. We have already recommended Marek to our friends and will continue to do so. Marek and team helped us transform our flat into an amazing home. It wasn’t a simple project as we needed various listed and local council permissions, and involved gutting a significant part of the flat, but he helped make this whole process less stressful. From the initial designs to the final furniture recommendations, working with Marek was a total pleasure. And we are over the moon with the end result.

Marek did a great job designing and project managing the renovation of our 4-bed Victorian house. He was able to bring style and a vision to the house, but was also practical and helpful, which is something we struggled to find talking to other interior designers. We really appreciated that Marek was willing to provide a critical eye on some of our ideas and tell us what would and wouldn't work, structuring the more oddball concepts into something that still made sense in the context of the house. He also definitely earned his money as a project manager, helping us find quality tradespeople and sorting out the inevitable challenges we had along the way. He was responsive throughout and always let us know what was going on. He is also a genuinely nice chap and a pleasure to work with. Thoroughly recommend.

Engaging Studio Schubert was the right choice. Even before the project award, Marek engaged in a very comprehensive and responsive manner before any formal commitment was made to the project. Marek worked tirelessly, including out of business hours, and responded to phone calls, e-mails and messages late a night and at the weekend. One of the many qualities I appreciated the most is that Marek and Rebecca made the most of every single £ in the budget. In addition, Marek has a natural capability for coming up with several “outside the box” creative solutions to respond to challenges. Combined with incredible attention to detail, Marek bent over backwards to satisfy every single requirement. The project presented numerous challenges caused by circumstances that were entirely out of Studio Schubert control, but despite that, they were dealt with effectively and efficiently. The results spoke for themselves. As an investment property, my apartment could be easily priced at the top end of the market for the area and ended up rented out for approximately 20% above the lender estimated rental income. Two weeks after advertising the property, when the apartment was only partly refurbished and only partially completed, I had tenants who placed an offer at near the full asking price and committed to moving in by evaluating the quality of design and workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend Studio Schubert to any investor who wishes to maximise its return on investment.

Marek helped us with the design of our flat, as well as managing the renovation itself. The project was somewhat more challenging for us given that we were out of the country for the biggest part of it, however, Marek made it feel smooth and took the lead on all aspects of the project including the ones that were unplanned and more technical in nature. In terms of the design itself, Marek has a broad spectrum of ideas and is a good listener which led to an interior design which is both beautiful and practical for us as a young family. Marek found multiple ways of maximising space through solutions that we had not thought of. He also collaborates with an excellent bespoke joinery suppliers which optimised the space further and was cost efficient. Marek was always available and ready to help which he still is months after completion. Not insignificant for a renovation project, it is worthwhile mentioning that Marek was always tracking close to the initial budget. We are very pleased with our new home, and it has been a pleasure working with Marek. We would highly recommend his interior design and project management services – Marek is professional, experienced and responsive and balances the aesthetics and practical needs perfectly whilst also remaining cost effective.

I have been lucky enough to know Marek (Studio Schubert) for many years, and have been witness to some of his projects, and have received advice and help towards my own projects. Marek has an incredibly precise attitude to all things property related. I recently purchased a new build home and within a few hours he had drawn up all the local attractions, which way the garden was facing, size difference to other homes in the area, potential builds near by etc. This made it really easy for me to proceed with my purchase because i trusted him when he believed it was a great investment. Marek’s interior design expertise is second to none, he helped design 2 living spaces in my family home, and they are just stunning! The project itself was iterior design of a newly 2 bedroom flat. Marek was always available and ready to help with any queries that I had, even months after the completion of the project. I am very happy with the end result and I wouldn't have achieved that without Marek's help. It's been a pleasure working with Marek and I would highly reccomend him for any interior design project.

I am thrilled with the work that Studio Schubert designed and managed for my property. The work required a complete refurbishment of the entire property. This involved new bathroom and kitchen, a landscaped garden and a redesign of the layout of the property meaning that I am now able to enjoy a 2 bedroom flat, instead of the original one bedroom, without compromising on space. Marek was great in managing all aspects of the project, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to come forward with design ideas that I had not thought of.
