Susan was a pleasure to work with in our complete kitchen remodel. We shared our ideas and budget with Susan, and she ran with it. We were thrilled with her suggestions on designs, and the contractor she suggested. The entire project was completed within our budget, and quicker than the estimated time frame.

We were not high-budget clients and yet Susan made us feel valued and offered her time and expertise generously. The outcome of our kitchen remodel is exactly what we hoped for and more. As a designer Susan Durling excels at making it beautiful. She consulted with me on my kitchen remodel several years ago and I still love it! Timeless and authentic, charming and functional are how I would describe her work. I just like her style = charming, European and fun!

Susan re-designed our Master bathroom and did a fantastic job. Her ideas were spot-on, she stayed within our budget and was very diligent. I would recommend her to anyone and would absolutely use her again for any design project.

Susan did our kitchen in 2008. We used her again in 2011 to add a master bath in a very awkward space. In both cases she was able to create a space that was both functional and beautiful. She listen to what I wanted and seemed to instinctively understand my style. Susan was available when ever we needed her and constantly checked on the work that was being done. She was able to work around our busy schedule and modify the project to stay within our budget. I recommend Susan Durling with the utmost confidence.

Susan and I have collaborated on many projects. She brings a highly developed eye to each project. As a designer I "make things pretty". I understand form and function, but Susan understands functionality, surface, components and can "make things pretty" all on her own--and yet, she is still happy to collaborate. I love working with her because it really gets the creative juices flowing. Often designers feel competitive--but with someone like Susan, the process is truly a partnership--which always benefits the client.

Susan Durling remodeled our kitchen. The floor plan was completely changed and because of this the difficulty was vast. She is courteous, meets budgetary needs and is timely with how long a project should take. It was absolute pleasure to work with Susan and my husband and I would hire her again.

Susan is great and easy to work with, knew exactly what I wanted before I did. Very hands on at the job site, being there almost more than me. Patient with my indecision! Creative and looks beyond the basics. Have worked with her on 4 projects, 1 full kitchen, 1 small kitchen project and 2 bathrooms. Will definitely work with her again!
