We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Steve Karle Construction, LLC. They built our dream lake home and we are absolutely thrilled with it! When initially driving through the neighborhood before we built, we met Steve while he was overseeing the paving of a driveway. We recognized him from a brochure and stopped to ask him a few questions. We were immediately impressed with him. He actually took the time to talk to us (about 30 minutes) while he was working and his enthusiasm about home building really came through. As an experienced builder, Steve is extremely knowledgeable and has great insight and ideas throughout the building process. He has an amazing talent to visualize and construct a beautiful home. During the building of our home, he was always presenting new ideas and suggestions. His attention to detail is phenomenal. He takes tremendous pride in the homes that he builds as if they were his own. Tamara was also great to work with throughout this process. She kept us informed with weekly emails, managed the house budget, sent us numerous pictures during the building process, helped us prepare for upcoming decisions and went with us to pick out things for the house (e.g. granite, lighting fixtures, tile, etc.). She was instrumental and invaluable in helping us build our dream home. Together, Steve and Tamara are an exceptional team. They were always accessible and available to answer any questions or address any concerns. They were also very flexible with us as we changed things during the process. They took a lot of the stress out of this process and left us confident that our home would have exceptional quality and craftsmanship. They did not disappoint! I have worked with Steve and Tamara at Stephen Karle Custom Homes for nearly 5 years providing many different items in the construction phase of their projects. We provided functional items like air sealing and insulation on the front end of the job and more fashion forward finishes like gutters, shower enclosures, glass and mirrors in the final phase of completion. Steve puts the same amount of thought and detail into items you may never see in your house, such as insulation and framing, as he does the decorative architectural elements that make a house "your home". He is very hands on and meticulous about details on every project. Steve and Tamara work well together to make sure your idea of what your new home should be comes to fruition. My company has been installing hardwood flooring for Steve since 2010. He and Tamara are absolutely great to work with. Steve is always on schedule, and the jobs are always ready to go when we arrive... Job sites are always clean and sub-floors are screwed down.
