At the THE COTTAGE of Shreveport, Louisiana, we take pride in our work and strive to give our clients the most innovative design with the highest quality materials available.
We specialize in truly custom spaces, designed to make your vision a reality. We craft each environment using our wealth of design experience, along with a fresh and creative eye. Though no two designs are identical, our home designs are bound by a common theme. THE COTTAGE brings every element of each project together – from cabinetry and appliances to windows and doors as well as tile and stone, Phantom Screens and Solatube – together in a cohesive way. The comfort of the process will only be out shined by the joy brought by a truly personalized space just for you!
THE COTTAGE is owned by Terry & Mary Ann Elston and was started as the Kitchen & Bath Cottage n 2001. Terry’s 40+ years of construction experience joins his reputation for detailed design and craftsmanship, as well as integrity in business practices. Those principles are echoed in the THE COTTAGE’s approach, combined with the benefit of sound construction and remodeling expertise at hand. Mary Ann has a B.S. in Accounting from LSU and is also a professional photographer.
Terry & Mary Ann have seven children: his (Andrew & David), mine (Christopher, Brennan & Connor) and ours (Catherine & Collin). They are also blessed with five daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren!

The first time I walked into The Cottage with my wife, we were quickly greeted by Christopher Randel and from that moment on he has taken great care of us and provided us with excellent customer service and expertise (he will even make you coffee from one of their fancy coffee makers and it is delicious). Our experience from the planning phase all the way through to after moving in has been better than we could have ever asked for. Every person at The Cottage goes above and beyond to meet their customers needs. We wouldn't have as beautiful of a house had it not been for Christopher and Mary taking the time they took with us to guide us through the different products they had. They helped us pick out everything from windows and doors to appliances and remote screens to some of the most beautiful tile we have in our house. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality products and customer service that goes the extra mile. They are an absolute delight to work with and worth every penny.

I've had the opportunity to work with Jamey on my new house in Southern Trace. This had been an ongoing project for the last 10 months, and we will still continue to use his services into the new year. Jamey has had awesome ideas that we have implemented- from structural ideas, brick and interior color flow, selection of doors/windows, correct furniture placement based on scale. He is incredibly professional, works within our budget and thinks outside the box. Also, he is good using clients existing furniture and finding ways to stretch the dollar. I'm looking forward to meeting with Jamey as we continue our last phase of building. Hire Jamey, you will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for quality appliances Kitchen and Bath Cottage is the place to go. Their showroom is wonderful and they show many of the top brands and newest appliances on the market. I highly recommend dealing with Steve Lee as he is very knowledgeable of the appliances they sell and is extremely helpful and available if you have any questions

This is the best experience I have ever had with a company!! I called KB Cottage, talked to this fabulous woman named Barbara Mitchell!! I was asking her questions about about possibly remodeling our kitchen, next thing she was drawing up our plans!! I couldn’t be happier with her service, along with everyone in her establishment!! Remodeling is a very stressful situation, but Barbara and her team made everything seamless!! We are enjoying our kitchen and would recommend this company to anyone!! When you are building a home, time is precious, and the staff at the Kitchen & Bath Cottage can quickly lead you to the best selections for your needs. Mary Patten was extremely patient and helpful as we combed through all the tedious specs when selecting our appliances. She pointed out features and gave us guidance that we so needed. Chris Randel walked us through the entire process of selecting Marvin Windows for our home, Solatubes and floor heating. He made himself available to us by text, phone and in person-to demo, answer questions and speed up the installation. His demeanor and concern for our project was exemplary. The finished Solatubes are bringing in a great deal of natural light in areas that we did not need Windows. The Marvin Windows are beautiful, and we look forward to the floor heating. I highly recommend him as a preferred vendor for any Marvin windows, Solatubes and floor heating products. He is friendly, knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service, a concept that is hard to find in vendors.

The entire crew at the Cottage did an outstanding job of installing and we highly recommend the Cottage for any needs you have with your building or remodeling projects. When doing an addition and remodel to our home, we worked with Andrew Elston to customize and order Marvin windows and doors. We couldn't be more pleased! Andrew guided us through the process, explained options and products, and gave us ideas as to what would look good in our home. There was no pressure, and he worked hard to ensure that we would truly be pleased with the end result. When installation day came, the installers were quick, polite, and took care to keep everything tidy. I am thrilled with my beautiful new Windows! They changed the entire appearance of our home. We've been working with Christopher Randle and the Kitchen And Bath Cottage to lighten up 2 dark interior bathrooms. After seeing many examples of their work in other homes, we contracted with KBC for design services on a remodel of two bathrooms and a kitchen. They also supplied most of the materials and appliances. April Sharlow is an exceptional designer, having the knowledge and vision we needed for this project. Her skills go beyond design to the architectural, and she has a knack for "reading" her clients and approaching them with well-tailored ideas. This is a top-notch outfit, and we highly recommend them.

When my husband and I begin building our home, we were feeling very overwhelmed with all of the different decisions that had to be made. Luckily, we noticed the beautiful design work done by Kori Shurley during the Parade of Homes, and she came to our rescue! Kori worked with us on our bathroom and kitchen tile designs until they were better than we could imagined. She is extremely knowledgeable about the design aspect of the job as well as the product, and we had the utmost confidence in her overseeing the entire process. She also designed and ordered all of the cabinets and cabinet hardware throughout our house. She made sure that the cabinet and drawer layouts worked well with our everyday living style. Kori also oversaw the design of our limestone range hood and ordering of appliances. If you go into the Kitchen and Bath Cottage showroom, it is obvious that the quality of their product is top-notch; however, it was the service provided to us by Kori that really was invaluable during the whole process. Even after everything was ordered, she was still always there to help us with other decisions around the house (ranging from picking out countertops to sink faucets) in order to ensure that everything went together beautifully. We would definitely recommend Kitchen and Bath Cottage and Kori’s services to anyone who is thinking of building or remodeling their home.

In 2011, we renovated our back yard and built an outdoor kitchen. We decided to work with Mary Patten with the Kitchen & Bath Cottage, and we couldn't have been more impressed. In addition to being friendly and knowledgeable about all our options, her prices matched the best prices we found on the internet for high end appliances. Fast forward to 2015, and it was time for a kitchen renovation. Same results! Kitchen & Bath Cottage is definitely the way to go!

Our experience with Kitchen and Bath Cottage was a very positive one. Our designer was April Sharlow. She designed a dream spa bath area for us with a walk in shower, beautiful cabinets, countertops, and tile designs in the shower. The lamps and the framed mirrors she placed in the bath area were beautiful. We trusted April to design a new bath for us that would fit our home and taste. She did not disappoint us. April was a joy to work with making the work along the way easy and no stress. Kitchen and Bath Cottage was a good choice for us.

We love our new Mele dishwasher that we purchased from KBC. Mary was very knowledgeable about all the products and features. She was very studious in discerning our needs in function and budget. The best experience that we have ever had in purchasing an appliance. We highly recommend using KBC for all of your kitchen and bath needs,

I have been working with Kitchen and Bath Cottage on kitchen remodel and April Sharlow has been our designer. She has been wonderful and very helpful during this experience. They have many beautiful choices and offer the top appliances and designs in the Shreveport Bossier Area.

KB Cottage was fabulous to work with! Their designs are thoughtful, timeless, and full of exceptional details. It is obvious that craftsmanship and quality play an important role in every project.
We recently partnered with them on a custom metal range hood for one of their clients. They provided clear and detailed drawings to work off of, and were easy to communicate with throughout the entire process... there was not a single hitch in the 3 month period we worked together! This is saying a lot, as we build custom metal pieces in Colorado, and they are located in Louisiana. If you are looking for a kitchen designer in the the Shreveport area, they are a great choice!

My wife and I love our SolaTube skylight & vent fan combo! The fan is quiet and It solved all of our ventilation issues in our interior bathroom. Plus most days we never need to turn the lights on. We appreciated the fast and professional installation, and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

We enjoyed our experience with Kitchen and Bath Cottage. Our sales associate was friendly, offered advice and went out of her way to find exactly what we were looking for. We loved all the samples they had in stock so that we were able to see and touch them. We will definitely use them again when needed.

Working with Kitchen and Bath Cottage was the correct decision for my home. Kori Shurley is talented in many ways from the cabinets to natural stone flowing to form an unique look. Kori designed the cabinets in the office, game room, baths, laundry room and kitchen and what a remarkable and complete job!

As a local contractor we have used the Kitchen & Bath Cottage on numerous projects and they have never let us down. The staff is very experienced and ready to help research any questions when information may not be at hand. No matter the size of the project they are more than willing to work with us and the homeowner achieve a beautifully designed and functional end result. Sometimes homeowners think if they don't get everything from them we can't use them, but that's not the case. Be it cabinets, appliances, hardware, Marvin windows or solar tubes we are able to find many of the products we need all in one local showroom. We will continue to look to the Cottage to meet the needs of our homeowners.

I have used Kitchen & Bath for NUMEROUS projects! That speaks extremely highly of this company - as I keep on going back to them!!! Kori is so easy to work with - very efficient, talented and creative. I have used them for indoor kitchens (new construction of a house in town and also a country home) and a fabulous outdoor kitchen (addition to house in town). I am so very pleased with the outcome on all projects they have done for me. I completely trust and admire the owners of the company. They are totally professional and I have always thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Whether it be a new house project or a simple remodel, they are efficient and professional. They have helped me in making many decisions as I truly value there honest opinions. I can't speak highly enough of this company and employees!

She had some great ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. Their beautiful new showroom gave us some great inspiration as well! You'll walk out of there wanting everything in there. We used the Kitchen and Bath Cottage for a complete kitchen remodel. April Sharlow designed the kitchen and was a pleasure to work with. She was accessible, attentive, and creatively flexible with our old houses lay out. We purchased cabinets and appliances as well as using some existing appliances. We never had a problem with time frame or mid-project changes as they were always willing to accommodate our desires. The installation crew were professional and respectful and, best of all, perfectionists. Our old house has had some shifting so they took extra time to make sure all molding, trim, and cabinets aligned well. We took time to seek out other options for cabinetry, but felt the factory finish of the products offered by The Cottage would look better than anything a painter could do. We were not disappointed, the finish is great and with 4 children very durable. I would recommend them without reservation for any remodel or new construction job.

The Cottage came highly recommended by several friends. Our designer was April Sharlow and what a God send she became. To transform a 16 year old bathroom by removing tubs , walls, and gutting to wall studs was a big project and required expertise. We are very particular consumers who pay quite a bit of attention to detail in all aspects of life. We needed a designer and company who could satisfy our fastidious taste. We could not be more pleased with the work that was done by April and the Cottage. Design, selection, and taste were impeccable. Thank you K&B Cottage and April! Well done!!!!

Kitchen & Bath Cottage is an unbelievable resource. They carry the very best cabinetry, appliances and hardware in the area, all of which I bought from them. They were the third cabinet shop that I talked to and I could quicky tell that their product could not be beat. And to top it off they have the design talent to put it all together. Kori walked me through the entire process and was a delight to work with before, during and after construction. It would be extremely difficult to work with anyone else on my next project. We are extremely luck to have them in a market our size. Looking forward to my next project with them!

We have been working with the Kitchen and Bath Cottage on our house remodel and have been extremely pleased with the customer service and materials purchased! We ordered all of our indoor/outdoor kitchen appliances, outdoor kitchen stainless cabinets/drawers, plumbing fixtures, and door/cabinet hardware from them. We could not be more pleased! The designer we work with is not only knowledgeable about the appliances and materials they carry, she is great with organizing kitchen and bath layouts. This is such an important (if not the most important) step in the building/remodel process. There are so many decisions to made at one time that I really relied on our designer at the Kitchen and Bath Cottage. She really took the stress out of the process for me. Their showroom is gorgeous and has an amazing selection of tile. I highly recommend you using them for you home!

Kitchen and Bath Cottage was AWESOME to work with. Not only did they design our kitchen to look great, it functions great! From the appliances to the cabinets and finishes, we couldn't be more pleased. Our house has a steady flow of kids, friends and family; our kitchen couldn't accommodate them better. We couldn't have made a better choice to build our dream kitchen than Kitchen and Bath Cottage!

KBC Design took our kitchen from start to finish with cabinetry, appliances, faucets, hardware. It was done beautifully and it was fast with no time delays. The staff is quite delightful, easy to work with and very accommodating. I love my Wolf range so much, it gets a hug every morning:)
We are planning a remodel on our bath in the near future and we will definitely be using KBC Design.

I am a La. State licensed General Contractor and have been performing upscale residential remodeling since 1989.
Kitchen and Bath Cottage provided design services and materials for a bathroom remodel that was both challenging and custom in every aspect.
I found the services providing by Kitchen and Bath Cottage to be professional at all levels and their craftsman skilled and experienced.
Myself, as well as my clients enjoyed working with April Sharlow our designer. I found her to be patient, flexible and very accessible.

The Kitchen & Bath Cottage supplied Marvin windows in our home due to rotting issues we had. Because we have a very unique stucco finish around the interior and exterior of our windows, it was a very difficult installation and it took expert craftsmanship and technical knowledge to order correctly.
The windows and doors look great and we are very pleased with the high quality of Marvin and knowing that they will last the rest of life. We will never have to replace doors and windows again.
We also purchased several of our Wolf, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances and a new Bentwood island in our home. We also ordered our Walker Zanger tile for a bathroom remodel. Everyone at the Cottage is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any products you may need in remodeling your home. The showroom is beautiful and worth a trip to Shreveport for.

Love, love, love the Kitchen & Bath Cottage. Not only did we buy most of our cabinets and all of our appliances for our new home from them, but they also helped design our kitchen -- which is, with out a doubt, the most amazing room in our house! They are a pleasure to work with and provide our town with access to high end products such as Wood Mode, Wolf, Miele and so many others. Every morning as turn on my Miele coffee system and brew the perfect cup of coffee, I thank them!!!
