About Us

In Business since 1997, we have been helping residents of the greater Northboro area decorate their homes, with luxury bedding and furniture, for everyday and the holiday season. Choose from hand painted, up cycled tables and chairs or reproduction furnishings in a variety of finishes. Our bedding lines are unique whether formal or casual and all machine washable. We work direct with Dash & Albert Rug company for some of the best affordable rugs out there. In addition we offer lighting, art and decorative accessories. And during the holidays, choose from a variety of seasonal floral picks and garlands for you mantels on centerpieces. The cherry on top is our extensive gift options from baby to grandma. From little blankets and clothes, to lotion potions and candles. We have gorgeous jewelry and accessories as well as wedding, anniversary and birthday gifts galore. Shop brands such as Little Giraffe, Petunia Pickle Bottom, Aden & Anais. Library of Flowers, K Hall, Rae Dunn and much much more. Visit our website for a taste but the store is a must see in person.

Lucky for me, I ordinarily pass by The Purple Rose 4 times a week. That makes it easy for me to pop in and buy furniture, bedding, and accessories for my client projects. Mother-daughter team Vickie and Kim are always there to help me find what I need, and will use their resources if they don't have something in the store, but know exactly what to show me. I often times just stop in for the "eye candy" and to see what is new. They are a pleasure to work with.

As a designer, I am impressed with their beautiful home furnishings, luxurious bedding, lighting, one-of-a-kind painted furniture, and decorative items that fill each of the rooms in their shop. The inventory is constantly being updated, and their holiday decor is top-notch. Kim and Vicky make each customer feel welcome, and do a great job helping customers find those perfect pieces to turn their house into a home.
