Tim designed a front porch and bedroom addition for our 1925 Florida cottage. His challenge was to make it seem as if both were original to the house and he achieved exactly what we wanted. Tim is great to work with - very easy going - and he was collaborative with our contractor.

We hired Tim because he was already familiar with the house (a non started project from the previous owners) and because he has a great reputation in the Old NE area of St. Pete. Ours is a 1932 bungalow (2BR / 1 BA). He designed a new Master BR / BA addition, a new kitchen (made from 4 small rooms), an existing BR redesign, new electrical and plumbing throughout and an incredible back porch that overlooks the patio and pool. We worked very closely with Tim - and had several changes / modifications along the way until we got to the final plan - but it was such a great experience it didn't seem like work. Tim really has an eye for detail and design in older homes - All of the modifications and additional spaces fit perfectly with the original home design - just like they've always been there...and that was important to us. We would highly recommend Tim Rhode to anyone in need of a quality architect.

Tim was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He provided in depth details on the best design to meet our goals and budget. He promptly responded to my questions and input, as well as incorporating my ideas and changes. He was also consistently communicating with the builder, subcontractors and the city permitting office. The entire construction process went very smoothly due in large part to Tim's great attention to detail in the planning stage. His professionalism, expertise and creativity made the entire project a success.

Tim is very professional in every way. His integrity is impeccable. He did all his work as he said he would and if there was a delay, he notified me when he would be able to deliver his work. He provided direction where I needed it and respected my creative input. We hired Tim to design a Master bedroom addition. His plans covered all the details and his estimates were on target. I especially like his suggestions for some cool architectural details and sourcing of the room's corner windows. The corner windows provide that we have a beautiful view of the waterfront behind our house. Most importantly, Tim is a great listener. He listened to my wish list and design preferences and delivered an excellent design. The master bedroom is almost finished now and we are very excited to move in! We had met with another architect and he never got back with us. It seems for Tim, that even small jobs get the personal attention that really makes a difference to his clients.

I asked Tim to design a front porch for our residence in St. Petersburg, Florida. The task was a bit of a challenge in that our home is nearly 85 years old and our goal was to make it appear as if the porch had always been there.
