I got three bids to have my first floor walls, ceiling, and new baseboards and trim painted. Ubiquity's bid was in the middle. But the reason I chose them was Josue (Principal) was the only one who really listened to me and thought about some issues I had never considered. His communication skills are excellent; he kept me up-to-date on his progress and if there were any issues he discussed them promptly and offered solutions. I also appreciated the little extras he did like make a minor repair to my sons door and replace all the door hinges with the new hinges I bought. There was a lot of work to be done, those baseboards and trim seemed to be never ending. They look absolutely beautiful as do my walls and the repair to my ceiling. I have a very high bar when it comes to contractors so I don't give out five stars often. I strongly recommend Ubiquity Painting.

Letter of Recommendation in regards to Josue, the Principal of Ubiquity Painting. As Josue is now in the final stages of completing our interior painting I felt compelled to take a few minutes to comment on my experience with his company. I am in the final stages of a year’s long remodel to my home. I had a tumultuous relationship with my general contractor whose primary goal it seemed was to finish, irrespective of the condition of the finished work. It was wrought with conflict and the genesis of this conflict centered around a single question, “is this good enough?” This is not a question you want your GC asking you, it implies his/her standard as a professional is not what matters, only that it crests your expectation for the job that was completed. For this reason I decided against using his painter for the interior crown moulding, trim and painting that needed to be done to finish the remodel. I was introduced to Josue by our Design person Briana. Josue bid was higher than that of our General Contractors. However during the evaluation of the project, he constantly made suggestions for creating the best finished product and truly listened when we expressed any and all concerns. It only took a couple of days for me to know that Josue’s standard was going to exceed what I would be happy with. From Josue I heard, “I will not be happy unless it’s perfect, no matter how long it takes.” And he was true to his word. I know that Josue was dealing with some private/personal issues, but this did not detract from his professionalism or the quality of the work he provided. I endorse him without reservation and would like to add at the completion of the job, I paid him an extra 10% on the job because I was so satisfied not just with the quality of the work, but because I never once had to say I was unhappy with something. There was no punch list, Josue exceeded all expectations that I could have had on his end of the project. If I have any critique it would be that he could have done 10% less, I would have still been happy and he could have been out of our house sooner! I have worked with Ubiquity Painting on two interior painting jobs. I enjoy working with Josue and Ubiquity Painting because of their attention to detail and high standards. I appreciate the amount of pride Josue takes in his work—he wants every job to be a reference for his next. Josue does incredible work. I purchased a 1965 split level with popcorn on the ceiling, and he scraped, sanded and painted it to look new. My home seriously sparkles and it's all thanks to his hard work. Josue was incredibly communicative and he kept me updated to the progress of my project. Ubiquity Painting, Inc also offered the most competitive quotes; he even was willing to add in some painting to our original contract (of which I was SO grateful for)! Josue is a top notch professional who does the utmost high quality work.

I've had the chance to remodel a handful of home in the last few years, and can say hands down Josue is one of the best contractors I've worked with. He has a keen attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship, and both he and his team worked hard and on schedule to finish some relatively large drywall / prep / painting projects. I've had Josue perform both drywall work and painting, including painting doors and trim, and his work always turned out great.

Josue - had trouble at first getting the correct team together. In this full employment background it is hard to get good people. Once he did, it went great and he did a thorough and professional job.

Josue and his team a Ubiquity worked with me on 2 separate but related projects in my basement. They repaired some broken sections of drywall, replaced base boards, and painted the entire basement and all the trim. This required a large amount of prep work, and it was obvious that they put a ton of effort into the detail and quality of the preparation - and this was very evident in the final outcome. The basement looks great, and Josue was trustworthy and worked extra hours in the evenings and weekends to get the job finished with a great attention to detail. I would definitely hire Ubiquity again for future painting needs.
