Urban Grid AV

Mark did a fantastic job designing and installing a Control4 whole home a/v system for our newly constructed home. My wife and I put so much effort into designing our dream home and Mark put that same effort into ensuring we had exactly what we needed for audio and visual needs throughout the house. I cannot say enough about Mark's knowledge, professionalism, and responsiveness throughout our project. We absolutely love our Control4 setup and highly recommend Urban Grid for all your audio/video needs!

My wife and I engaged Urban Grid AV after researching many companies in the AV industry. We were most impressed with Urban Grid AV's wide range of custom installations: single room AV installations to estate level whole house automation. Upon engaging Urban Grid, they were extremely professional from start to finish, always keeping our best interest at the forefront, presenting us with options and ultimately helping us choose what best fit our lifestyle. We ended up with distributed audio and video throughout our house by way of a Control 4 home automation system. We ended up selling the home they installed the home automation system in (which was a very attractive feature to buyers), and we plan to engage Urban Grid AV again for a system in our new home.

Mark and the entire Chesapeake SmartHome team were a pleasure to work with. They were incredibly professional, detailed and knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend them anymore highly.

Working with Mark and his Urban Grid team was great. We rent out our house on occaisain as an executive style rental. The team came in - suggested a full sound/theater/TV system whcih we took (execs like technology). It is indeed complicated and they had the patience of a saint making us compfortable with the system. So on that count alone - 5 stars! But it gets better - we had a tenant who dared to mess with the programming, moved wires around and REALLY messed it up. He moved out and aother client moved in an told us about the TV System and Mark just happend to be near by and came over that evening and fixed it, and made the client happy even though it made him late for an important dinner with his wife. THAT is 5 star customer service! We have him on speed dial - just incase in happens again!

I have use Urban Grid AV on various projects. From home automation of my smart home, to my learning center at my professional office. They can do everything from design, implementation, programing to the construction. Seamless integration and coordination. There recommendation are top notch. Knowledge of materials and equipment was most helpful. The worked my tight deadline wonderfully and worked hard to make all of my projects perfect. I would highly recommend the entire team from Frank, Mark and Ken.

Amazing Company that is much more knowledgeable than anyone else I have come across. They did everything they said they were going to do.

They installed a Control4 System in my two story condo in October 2011 to control double light rails for general and art lighting along with automated shades and draperies, thermostats, speakers and associated equipment for audio and video. Using Sonos, I can access Pandora, Sirius, my jukebox and my CD collection. They installed rope lighting and an outdoor television for my terrace and bracket in the media room to raise and lower a painting over a television. They installed a Kaleidescape with storage for hundreds of movies and recordings. Since the installation, they have updated equipment and made repairs on a timely basis. The workmen are friendly and efficient. They even installed a baffle to make my HVAC a two zone system. Most recently they are programming Alexa to work with Control4 to allow voice commands for the equipment for specific room actions along with scenes. They are highly capable and press vendors in my favor when their equipment acts up or fails. I recommend them highly.

Mark did an amazing job on the sound system throughout our house. His customer service has been fantastic. I could not be happier with the product and service he has provided. On a scale from 1-10 I give him a 10+.
