About Us

Specializing in Natural Homes, I have created many custom homes from design to facilitating the construction. My clients like to be part of the building process in a very hands-on way and 'sculpt' their dream. My work includes Earth building technologies such as Cob and Earth bag as well as Straw bale construction. I have experience in temperate and tropical climates. My site analysis is based on Permaculture.

Elke Cole has designed a couple of houses for me and I have always been greatly impressed by her creativity, her ability to capture, my person requirements and style and to be able to translate those into a home that I love. Elke can come up with ideas that would have never occurred to me and uses her wordly experience to create a design that is unique yet effective. I would highly recommend Elke to anyone who is looking for a unique, healthy, organic and dynamic home that will make you proud to live in.

Elke Cole worked for me as a Natural Building Trainer in Kenya. We did two 10 day workshops with 23 students. Further we did a small Plastering Workshop to finish the house including installing the Earthen floors.She is a very professional Trainer, keeping to schedules and deadlines and proved to be very innovative and a good problem solver.
