About Us

The Wills Company is an award-winning, residential, design/build remodeling and handyman firm located in West Nashville. Our projects range from whole-house remodels to small repairs and updates. The company's owner, Ridley Wills, pioneered the the design/build remodeling industry in Nashville over 25 years ago and are nationally recognized leaders in remodeling and maintaining houses with a lifetime approach.

Had them repair a sink for the property I manage. They are easy to get in contact with and are a pleasure to work with. The contractor they hired out for the job did no-show on the appointment day with no prior contact. The work was done later that week with no issues.

It is rare for a direct competitor to reach out and complement you, that is exactly what I am doing. I own a remodeling company in the area and am impressed with Ridley Wills design and most of all integrity. One our our clients had something go wrong that was well at least 8 years out from the initial Will installation. Ridley was quick to come out and make everything right for our mutual client. He is a class act. It would be a great industry if everyone followed Ridley's example of commitment to his work.

I recently moved to Nashville and needed a handyman to repair a number of items in my new "old" house. I found the Wills Company online and their response was immediate and professional. I couldn't believe how efficient their team was in responding and in the quality of their work. I am considering a kitchen remodel next year and will certainly engage them on the project.

We chose to work with The Wills Company to renovate our 1950s ranch house based on their reputation for best-in-class design and service. Ridley Wills’ thoughtful and creative plan to transform the small, dark, choppy space into a light-filled, airy, modern and efficient home has exceeded our expectations. The project is underway and even ahead of schedule.

When the century-old column on our historic Nashville house began to fall apart (the crumbling capital rained plaster down on our heads!), Ridley Wills and the Wills Company took on the very difficult repair and restoration job after other builders and preservationists tried and failed. Ridley took personal responsibility for every step of the repair, from recasting the capital so it would match the others on the porch to repairing extensive rain damage in the surviving wood column. the finished restoration is flawless, and his patient expertise solved a very worrying problem.

I hired The Wills Handyman when our water heater went out. I was impressed with how quickly they got someone to the house to assess the situation and then replace it. They were responsive, courteous and professional. I definitely recommend using their services!

The Wills Company is a one stop shop. Ridley Wills' design capabilities are classic yet contemporary. He work references the past and he is a student of classical form has the unusual gift of reimagining it to meet our modern day needs. Our work with the Wills Company exceeded our expectations. A real fit for the client with a discerning eye.

We renovated one end of our 1925 home, to provide updated master bath and closets. In the process, we extended the kitchen, added a laundry room, and opened up the door between kitchen and breakfast room, all without changing the home's original footprint. A new coat closet was gained, along with a relocated pantry. One wall of the kitchen was rebuilt. The project was handled very professionally and on time.

If you want things done right call the Wills Company. After years of frustration working with sub par, fly by night, flaky, disorganized, cigarette throwing contractors we finally found the right guys to finish our job right. So professional. So courteous. Always did what they said they were going to do. And they were exactly on budget. Why did it take this long?? (cue visual of us banging our collective heads on countertop) Thank you Wills Company for coming to the rescue!
