“We wanted to add on extra space to the house that we had previously renovated. We met Carlos from Ulloa designs, and as he is an Architect and builder , we were soon into the addition of about 1000 sq ft. The permitting was handled efficiently, as was the execution of all the design requests. There were a few issues with the HOA in our sub-division but that was also managed well by the builder. The final result is an interesting living room space,and a bedroom and bathroom. We would, and have, recommended Carlos to many people. He is helpful, artistic, and efficient. What more could you ask for?!”

“We highly recommend Steve and Shannon. They are skilled professionals who have created a beautiful plan for our home to be built. They listened to all of our “wants” for our home and made sure that their plans reflected these within the budget that we needed to adhere to and within a good time frame. They have creative ideas that we would not have ever imagined. Both are so responsive and patient, helping us through this overwhelming process, answering all our many questions, addressing any concerns, and being patient as we made changes time and again. We feel that Steve and Shannon’s team approach is very beneficial. Steve created the overall design which is incredible and Shannon has designed the beautiful and functional details within the house. We get the benefit of two competent and creative professional working together in their areas of expertise to create our dream house to every detail. Meetings are generally with the two of them, and they interact with each other and of course with us to look at options and changes. We feel that they are as excited to show us plans or ideas as we are to receive them. In addition Steve and Shannon lived up to their word that they would be with us where we need them. They have come to meetings with builders and been with us to look at choices of design elements, such as flooring, doors, cabinetry etc. In general we feel very fortunate to be working with Steve and Shannon.”

“I have known John Guy for several years through association in the TIBD (Texas Institute of Building Designers). My membership in TIBD was as a supplier. As a supplier I worked with and got to know many of the members. This year I decided to start building homes. There were several reasons I chose John Guy: #1 He is an excellent designer, #2 He listens to his clients and designs to meet their ideas. #3. He has a working knowledge of products and applications. #4. He understands the complex nature between design and construction. For these reasons, John has been a great deal of help in product selection. I have also hired John to inspect the job and provide quality assurance.
