“I am a dental specialist with over 30 years of practice and had been in the same office for 27 years. Moving and designing a new office had many challenges. Jerry was unbelievable in his helping us through this long and arduous process. He had an uncanny ability to really understand our practice and to design our state-of-the-art office to the point where we still get compliments on a daily basis of how it looks. His workflow design from the employees view is equally as impressive. His willingness to meet with us and make changes showed his desire to achieve perfection as well as be sure we were satisfied with everything. I have the office now of which I've always dreamed. “We loved working with Killeen Studio Architects. We needed drawings to buid a laundry area in our 100-year-old St. Louis condo. The project included demolition of a closet that divided the condo’s large hall into two awkward spaces. Our new laundry is still under construction but we can already see it makes better use of the space. Mike Killeen and his team not only turned the drawings around fast, but also gave us advice, ideas and the names of trusted contractors. The whole experience was very professional, the drawings were exactly what we needed and the price was reasonable. We will certainly use Killeen Studio for our next project and I have no hesitation recommending them to others.”

“Donna, Allan, and their architectural support team are amazingly and refreshingly personal, creative, professional, and responsive. They were able to take an old 70s ranch with all its oddities and convert it into a new craftsman style home. They listened carefully over many conferences to come up with a creative design, worked within our budget to get us what we needed, revised and revised patiently to get it perfect, and then followed up with on the job supervision and sometimes substantive changes on the fly, including invaluable help with the governmental review process. They all worked so well with our construction crew, who had their cell numbers for on the spot questions about plans or problems, of which, one can imagine, there were many. Thanks to Donna's architectural design (the neighbors are truly in awe of the front elevation and interior transformation), Allan's meticulously drafted plans (the city review board and fire teams said they had never seen such meticulous detail), and the respectful collaboration with all involved (we are all still talking to each other after what ended up being a tedious, four year project), we now have the transformed home we wanted when we started: solid as a rock and nearly soundproof, aesthetically consistent with the older parts of the house, and the openness, light, and functionality of a new home, even if it all drove Donna and Allan crazy sometimes trying to get it for us! They did it all with a smile, and with exceptional professionalism. They certainly went the distance for us, and are just an awesome team. They have my highest recommendation as an architectural firm.”

“I've been a deck builder, home modeller, contractor, etc for over 30 years (John Oliver Custom Decks). I know Eric both professionally and personally for about 17 of those years. Eric is great to work with as he is always accessible to answer questions while I'm working for one of his clients or one of my own. He's both reasonable in his approach to any job site and represent the needs of both the property owner and contractor in a manner that makes sense to me where the job can proceed without delays. I would say his logical disposition and expertise in his field separates Eric from many other architects and planners that I have worked for.”

“We've had a series of major renovations on our home and Mark has done the design/drawings for each phase of construction. We gutted a basement that required lowering the floor to get better ceiling height. We added a master bath/laundry upstairs. And most recently, we redesigned our kitchen and added a family room and office off the back of the house for a more open floor plan and additional living space. Mark did an excellent job of keeping the design in line with the look of the rest of the house, but the floor plan is more open which is hard to find in older homes (ours is close to 90 years old). We have loved the new addition and Mark did such a great job of figuring out what we really wanted and making it all work. I would highly recommend Mark for your next renovation or new design project!”

“My wife and I were very pleased with the design that Curtiss provided for our 2150 sqft infill home in Webster Groves, MO. Curtiss listened to our needs (even following my wife's Pintrest account), visited the site and surrounding neighborhoods, researched local requirements, and then QUICKLY synthesized all the information into plan and elevations that we could take to the architectural review board (ARB). We were able to complete the ARB review in one meeting, and then Curtiss worked with our contractor to develop the final contract documents. Now we have a quality, energy efficient, home with lots of natural light: at a price we could afford. We have been living in our home for a few months, and we love it! Curtiss is a super hard worker. He met our project's tight deadlines, without complaint or unexpected charges. The price we paid for his services was fair. In every project there are things that one would do differently. But, one thing that we would do the same is pick Curtiss as our architect. Thanks, Curtiss!”

“Susan Bower did an outstanding job as the architect for the remodel of our condo at Lindell Terrace in the Central West End of St. Louis, MO. We purchased our condo for many reasons but one of the principal attractions was that this particular building allowed us to easily take down walls to open up the space and redo the layout to our liking. Susan was instrumental in helping design the perfect home for us. She started by trying to understand our vision and then offered alternative designs that took our initial thoughts and translated them into the clean, modern, practical, beautiful and elegant look we wanted. The use of lighting, something we had not focused on, was a creative way to enhance the space and give it a perfect atmosphere. Also, her vision on how to use all the space (where to put doors and where to move walls) was simply the best use of the space to achieve our goals. Besides her talents as an architect and designer, Susan demonstrated professionalism, competence and an ability to relate to people. Her communication skills and construction knowledge were evident when she was asked to help find solutions to construction related issues. She has been a pleasure to work with in all facets of the project and we highly recommend her for her design skills, her people skills and most of all her ability to take our vision and implement it adding her own spin to make it the perfect home. “Studio Lark helped transform two very out dated bathrooms into two beautiful bathrooms. They provided new floor plans to help us make more efficient use of space; our once small bathrooms seem very spacious now. Aaron and Jessica are very hard working and responsive to the many changes and questions I had. They made the remodeling process easier than it would have been if I was working on my own. My husband and I are extremely happy with the finished product!”
