“A fantastic experience on a major renovation to a 1970's ranch. The Team at SSArchitechs worked with us from the first concepts for the plan until we moved into the house. The entire team turned our wish list into a complete vision. Every step of the plan stayed on schedule and on budget! We would definitely use SSArchitects on our next project.”
Elemental Homes
Architects in Boulder County, CO
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars5 January 2018
“The home that Elemental Homes created for us has been the best home that I have ever lived in. It's sculptural form is not only striking, it is also great for living and entertaining. We use every corner of it. It has been featured on home tours and in architectural magazines. They are great to work with, being approachable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend them.”

“HMHAI developed an initial design concept for our home along South Boulder Creek which capitalizes on the mountain views across open space in a way which will both enhance our quality of life and the value of our home investment. They have worked seamlessly with our general contractor and the team of engineers required to meet the stringent Boulder building code, which we passed "without comment" on the first submission of our plans. In addition to designing a beautiful home, they've assisted us in selecting well-respected and efficient structural engineers, energy consultants, and all of theother professionals needed to build a new home. The design team has guided us toward sound and aesthetically appealing finish choices inside and out. We'll finish our home mid-summer and are thoroughly enjoying the building process (a pleasant surprise). Our highest recommendation to Harvey Hine and his team at HMHAI.”

“Zev helped me add an office to my home. Zev was extremely helpful from the very beginning in the planning and design process. His friendly demeanor and honest approach was pivotal in deciding to work with him. Zev was very organized in his approach and very clear on timeline. He communicated timely and met all deadlines. I could not be happier with the project. Zev did great work and exceeded expectations. Would absolutely work with him again!”
TKP Architects
Architects in Boulder County, CO
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars18 November 2013
“The architects at TKP have great vision and practical ideas. I had spent months working with another architect to design an addition to our 55-year-old home but nothing clicked. Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. We love our three-year-old, 1000 square foot "new" space. It flows beautifully with the original house.”
Arcadea Architecture

“David Biek from Arcadea has worked on two projects for us. The first project was restoring a beautiful multi million dollar 4 story grey stone in Chicago. The building was a classic old building in disrepair. David's design work brought the building infastructure into the 21st. century yet he maintained the old world charm. Thanks to the remodel, the building is renting for top dollar. The second project David did for us was some remodleing at our home in Boulder. After the 2013 floods, we had some serious repairs to make on our bottom floor. David redesigned the worst, ugliest bathroom in our home and made it wonderful. The bottom floor has never looked better. You can trust David. He's careful, fair priced, thoughtful, imaginative, and always has good follow through.”

“I worked with R&B on a very significant mixed use project in Aspen, CO. Because of the teamwork, creative ideas and details on the project we were able to win a national lighting design award for our Mother Lode project. Sarah,John and their team are always looking to push the envelope of mountain modern design and keep the projects fun. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who likes their signature style.”

“I pretty much knew want I wanted to do with my project. I warned Ellen I knew enough about architecture to be dangerous. Ellen recognized my requirements and was instrumental in identifying other considerations needed for the project. Included was a need for a code variance (setback). I was informed by the city, before starting the project, a code allowance(variance) was not required. Ellen’s code research was right. A code allowance was required. With her help, the review board approved the code allowance request unanimously. Our project involves bumping the attached garage eight feet to allow for a utility room between the garage and house. The design includes moving the washer and dryer out of the basement. As simple as the project sounds, there is a lot involved. Ellen listened to my wife’s concerns and ideas on the project. Together we achieved a very efficient design. We are now in the permit and construction phase of the project. I am looking forward to Ellen’s input. Ellen deserves your serious consideration.”
