“The architects at TKP have great vision and practical ideas. I had spent months working with another architect to design an addition to our 55-year-old home but nothing clicked. Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. We love our three-year-old, 1000 square foot "new" space. It flows beautifully with the original house.”

“My wife and I decided to undertake the daunting task of designing and building a beach house in Baja, Mexico. We hired Robbie Dickson with Equinox Architecture because of his strong experience designing second homes for families. Even though most of his prior work was from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado using wood (very different from the coastal deserts of Baja), we felt comfortable that he would design a fabulous getaway for us. We were not disappointed. Take a look at the photos and you can see for yourself. It was a great experience all around. The builders who didn't speak english commented that they were the best architectural plans they had ever built from, the easiest to follow and with all the appropriate details called out to make building go smoothly and efficiently, even in a foreign country. “I pretty much knew want I wanted to do with my project. I warned Ellen I knew enough about architecture to be dangerous. Ellen recognized my requirements and was instrumental in identifying other considerations needed for the project. Included was a need for a code variance (setback). I was informed by the city, before starting the project, a code allowance(variance) was not required. Ellen’s code research was right. A code allowance was required. With her help, the review board approved the code allowance request unanimously. Our project involves bumping the attached garage eight feet to allow for a utility room between the garage and house. The design includes moving the washer and dryer out of the basement. As simple as the project sounds, there is a lot involved. Ellen listened to my wife’s concerns and ideas on the project. Together we achieved a very efficient design. We are now in the permit and construction phase of the project. I am looking forward to Ellen’s input. Ellen deserves your serious consideration.”

“When selecting an architectural firm for our outdoor living space addition and related interior remodel, we were prepared for the notion that we were going to be taking a long journey together! We wanted an architect that fostered trust and mutual respect, shared a common vision with us and was a healthy communicator. Natalie and Pat provided us with the highest level of experience and service. Their impeccable sense of design and understanding for how to create a space that would perfectly meet our needs over time was faultless. My wife and I love the outdoors in Colorado and with a generous outdoor living space including lounge seating, kitchen, large custom designed fire pit and jacuzzi, it's a substantial addition to our home. The project went smoothly from start to finish and we can't be more complementary about the way that Natalie and Pat led the process. Both offered such a positive attitude in exploring our options and in trouble shooting the challenges that we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this firm!!”

“From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Becky listened to all of our input and took all of our wants and needs into consideration. The project came in under budget and ahead of schedule and the crew doing the work were fabulous. We will be using them again on next major project! Our house was built in 1910 and they did a great job of incorporating the character and charm into the project! Couldn't be happier!”

“David Biek from Arcadea has worked on two projects for us. The first project was restoring a beautiful multi million dollar 4 story grey stone in Chicago. The building was a classic old building in disrepair. David's design work brought the building infastructure into the 21st. century yet he maintained the old world charm. Thanks to the remodel, the building is renting for top dollar. The second project David did for us was some remodleing at our home in Boulder. After the 2013 floods, we had some serious repairs to make on our bottom floor. David redesigned the worst, ugliest bathroom in our home and made it wonderful.The bottom floor has never looked better. You can trust David. He's careful, fair priced, thoughtful, imaginative, and always has good follow through.”

“I am a builder that has bid and built several Fa'nas projects and can recommend them without hesitation. As a builder, I can tell you that a good set of plans is the most important key to a successful project. The detail and clarity of plans ensures that the bids can be compared 'apples-to-apples', communicates what should be included in the bid, and ultimately defines the scope of work in the contract. Dale and Elizabeth's plans have been consistently excellent, allowing me to bid with confidence and build efficiently. Others can talk about their vision, style, or the aesthetics of their design, (this is also inspired in my opinion), but as a builder the most important thing is the accuracy and clarity. The money you spend on Fa'nas plans will be saved by lack of change orders and lack of mistakes.”
