“We had a great experience with Phillip White, Laura Ayers and staff when building our new home in Manoa. They are professional, friendly, responsive to our needs as well as giving us superb ideas for the creation of our new home. They worked as a positive team, that really got along on all levels. Their working environment made us feel comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend them for any new clients/projects.”

“Trigg-Smith is probably the best architect I've ever worked with - and I've worked with many. He understands vision of his clients, line of sight no matter where you are in the house, colors, textures, materials, size, ..... He's the ultimate architect and I recommend him strongly.”

“Victor "Dean" Sinco is an excellent architect and he has an excellent team of drafts-people at Entheos. He is both creative and practical. He comes up with ideas that look good but are also cost-effective. He knows how to make new construction match original construction. He is great at supervising the work and coming up with solutions on the spot for any problems. He has always responded to me in a timely way. He has done both large and small projects for me. For one large project, he designed a guest suite addition to my house that added a laundry, kitchen, and screened porch to an existing bedroom and bath. At the same time he designed a roof extension, a new laundry room plus a solar water heater room, and a complete renovation of two bathrooms, one of them handicap. A few years later, he turned a walk-in closet into a half-bath plus a smaller closet and turned garage storage into interior storage. Recently, he designed a fence, gate, and lanai for me. I will continue to use him for any future projects.”

“Jimmy did an outstanding job with the design and architectural plans for my 12,000 sq ft home here in Hawaii. Although the project took much longer to get to the build stage (not at any fault Jimmy's), he stuck with his original quote and time frames for billing. We had many meetings together during the design and build phase and made all necessary changes to the plans along the process. And as a result our home won the AIA Peoples Choice Award and a Merit Award with the BIA. The fees i paid were reasonable and the end result was outstanding.”

“Bill Benjamin is brilliant when working with clients. He is the only architect in Honolulu who will fully collaborate with clients and not impose his artistic views as is the case with many other local architects. He is also highly intelligent and can solve many problems of design and construction that other architects have problems with.”

“I used Jeff for a complete renovation of my home. Adding an architect to my team was actually the last component as I thought I could get away without one. Good thing I did engage Jeff because I can't imagine what the project would have looked like had he not been involved. Jeff's design ideas and detailed drawings were certainly key to having my project completed on time and on budget, in addition to having a beautiful finished product. In addition, Jeff worked some magic and was able to get permitting in less than half the time it usually takes. Jeff was flexible, creative, detailed, organized and timely. He communicates well and was responsive to all my requests. All important criteria for having a build go smoothly. I will definitely engage Jeff again if I can find another worthwhile project. “Sunnland Architects designed our home in Kūki’o on the Big Island of Hawaii. From beginning to end they knew exactly what we were looking for and conceived a design that reflected that. Working with them was a most pleasant experience and gave us great confidence in the overall process.”

“My husband and I were pretty intimidated when we initially started looking around for help with our kitchen design because it seemed like we wouldn't be taken seriously since we're not working with a mansion. We just started growing our family and are fixing up a modest two bedroom so we wanted to keep costs minimal while maximizing our space. Of all the contacts we made, Aaron was the only one willing to work with our modest budget; he did so with complete understanding and enthusiasm and we were blown away by his compassion to help out. Working with him was very easy as most our correspondence was via email and he was always accommodating of any concerns or questions we had. I highly recommend Aaron Shimizu for his approach with first-timers and for solving what seemed like an insurmountable game of Tetris with our galley kitchen.”

“I have had 2 homes that Hired Dream House Drafting and also referred Janyce to 3 other jobs. I highly recommend her services, I find her to be honest, timely, knowledgeable, considerate, and she knows the system. I tried to use another service because Janyce was busy and it turned out to be a nightmare.”

“Fujuita+Netski are a powerful punch for architecture and design. We hired them to work on our 1946 Manoa Hawaiian home. They kept the essense of it's style but transported it smoothly into 2012. The team are well trained professionals that team up with a contractor, H1 construction. Together they worked seemlessly to meet you to make your dreams come true. All along they way they showed us what our kitchen would look like with power point presentations, laser models or watercolors. We did an entire kitchen remodel including demoing 2 walls and reframing rooms took approximately 2 months. Our goal was to keep a clean classic Hawaiian plantation feel of Manoa with modern clean lines. The final product looks like it has always been there. They incorperated several unique items like a moveable island, surfboard racks shaped like paddles and gave us a walk in pantry. The flooring is holding up great and we can cook with all our friends with lots of space. We added some modern bling with the dark countertops and kept shaker style cabinets that are so high quality they make hardly any noise when they shut. The back splash was made just for us too, its 3 large pieces of tempered glass painted the color of the ocean. perfect for 2 surfers. Fujita+Netski is not afraid to try new daring things (notice the octupus wallpaper) and can pull them off with style. Not only are they friendly and talented the product is exactly what you want at the end of the process. We saw the team at least 2-3 times a week . They are easily available via text message or email. You will be happy and cannot lose with their sense of design.”
