He has designed and executed on two buildings we own in Chicago, coming up with a design that enhanced the rental units in the properties. Management of the construction and renovation was great as well. Would highly recommend this company.”

“My husband and I had a great experience with JAG. Before we moved out of our old house, Ms. Jaffe and her assistant Ms. Lindsey visited, looked around, measured our furniture and discussed what we liked and didn't like about the house. They took copious notes and very obviously incorporated the information into the plans for our new house. We told them a few things - we wanted it to be contemporary, have a southeast facing kitchen and a wine room, and listed the other rooms we wanted. They built on this to create a masterpiece that we love coming home to every day! Ms. Jaffe is very creative and has a keen eye for decorating. Ms. Lindsey has every detail on paper and in her head, so that there were almost no surprises while the house was being built. Ms. Jaffe put in a lot of beautiful architectural features that we would not have imagined, such as a skylight and multi-surfaced walls, guided us when our ideas were bad, and followed our wishes when our tastes differed from hers. Ms. Lindsey made sure that all the details were perfect, such as making sure that the shelves behind our cabinet-door mounted spice racks are shorter than the other shelves, so the doors can close with the racks on them. They also helped with interior design, with the same attention to detail. JAG also has a great office staff that was able to keep us updated when Ms. Jaffe and Ms. Lindsey were not immediately available. We think this firm's fees are probably higher than average, but worth it. All in all, a very positive experience.”

“I have worked with Jason for the past 10 years on a wide variety of projects and he is an incredible architect! He has the perfect balance of design ingenuity and technical savvy that many design professionals lack. His strengths lie in his ability to creatively solve complex design issues and develop clever solutions that are beautiful and timeless. Beyond that, Jason is the hardest working architect I have ever known. He will work night and day to achieve the optimal design solution aesthetically, while adhering to time frame, build-ability and budget. Don't think twice and hire Jason.”

“Michael Menn designed and constructed with the help of his experienced pool of subcontractors the kitchen of my dreams in an older home that I love for both its tradition and its memories. It is a pleasure for me to come down in the morning to a space so much in keeping with the style of our home and offering me at the same time all that is in modo contemporary for the our time. Michael Menn is a gentleman who honors his word amd his contractural agreements. He was always available to me and responded promptly to any and all concerns or questions that I may have had. Michael is in addition someone with whom one could easily make a lasting friendship. I would not hesitiate for a minute to recommend him to others nor to contact him for any future projects that I had in mind.”

“As a designer, I was able to work with Paul Benigno from Turn Collaborative on a complete gut rehab of an 1880's home on a double lot in a landmark district in Chicago. Paul was great to work with from every facet - creative and thoughtful, with a broad and deep knowledge of construction.
