“I absolutely love the beautifully executed tropical wild life images that are created by the artist using acrylic paints. The images seem so real (no detail missed) that we want to touch them to feel the texture of the fur or feathers.”
Maria Martin Art
Artists & Artisans in Austin, TX
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars10 May 2016
“Maria is amazing! Her work not only appeals on many different levels to clients and their taste in art, but her ability to customize makes my job as the interior designer much easier. She will work within our color palette and size requirements. She will meet at a client's home and bring samples of her work to explain her technique and get them comfortable with the process of commissioning a piece of art unique to them. She will even give them the opportunity to view a piece before complete to allow for tweaks, making the process very safe for the client. Love her work and ease to work with.”
Deborah Argyropoulos Fine Art

“I've been following Deborah's art now for a little over a year. Her work is so unique and so impressive I'm truly honored that I now own 2 of her pieces. Not only is she a talented artist, she is very professional, knowledgable and kind. Her work is truly amazing, it blew me away. She will draw you in if you ever get the chance to meet her because of her extensive knowledge and love of the arts.”
Dawn Winter, Contemporary Abstract Paintings, LLC
Artists & Artisans in Austin, TX
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 June 2012
“I have purchased two of Dawn Winter's paintings. We changed our very 80's dated decor to a much more peaceful and modern feel. Once the flooring, paint colors and furniture was updated, we looked for artwork to reflect our home's new feel. We were very pleased to find Dawn's work and it really makes the rooms. Our family room has one of her earlier works of art that is like flowers in the rain to me. The other piece is a bold work of art that is hanging in our teen room. Both look perfect for the rooms.”
Velvet A. Barton Decorative Artist
Artists & Artisans in Austin, TX
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars16 February 2014
“Velvet has refinished two bathrooms for me as well as painted two large paintings for my dens. One of the bathrooms was a huge project and it is stunning. She did an Italian plaster and faux painted the walls and ceilings and when I thought it couldn't get any better, she added Swarovski crystals to the walls. It is beautiful. She also painted the cabinets which I thought was the perfect color and then she added another touch to the molded part of the cabinet and brought it to a new level. The other project was a powder room that after painting the walls and ceiling she stenciled randomly on the walls and added a beautiful finish to the ceiling. I am extremely happy with all of the work. What I do also consider a huge advantage to working with Velvet is that she listens to your ideas, your thoughts and your likes and dislikes and when she is done you realize that she did in fact listen to you and that is another reason you are so pleased with her work. I will definitely work with Velvet again.”

“I recently attended one of Erica Wildman's art shows and was fascinated by the bold use of color in her paintings. One painting stood out from the rest and I knew I had to have it. I bought the painting named Surge from Erica a few weeks after the show. She delivered it to me personally and was patient, very easy to deal with.”
Jamie Story Fine Art
Artists & Artisans in Austin, TX
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars13 February 2016
“I've admired Jamie Story's work for some time and when my husband and I decided we needed to have some wall decor that was a little more mature than framed posters, we found this glorious masterpiece by Jamie Story...It was fate that we got it, and I still find lovely new details to wonder about every time I look at this painting. I love that it's painted on a panel of Ampersand Encausticbord which gives it an interesting texture and enhances the iridescent "micro-pigment" ink and acrylic paint. Story's technique with these paints and inks combined on the wood panel creates these cool, tentacle-like clusters of color. The finished piece is truly amazing and gazing at it has become somewhat of a spiritual practice (however corny that may sound, it's true). It has so many dimensions, so much power in each rich layer of color, it provides me with a meditative-type of refuge. I am surprised (yet honored) that mine is the first review for Jamie Story's Fine Art Paintings and I highly recommend her work for anyone who feels compelled to display really beautiful art in their home (or office) that will invite the onlooker to connect with a beautifully hypnotic piece of art. Each time a new visitor sees our painting they compliment and ask about it. I am happy to have something so magical lighting up my bedroom. Plus, I love feeling so financially savvy as to invest in something that will likely be worth millions someday...As my painting has already become my most priceless possession -- if one can possess a piece of fine art? More likely, it's the other way around...”
