“Decks by Design of IN made a great impression during the quote process. We quoted several companies and they were by far the most organized. With photo book in hand of examples of their work with labels (fancy railing, standard railing, vertical skirting, etc), it left zero room for there to be a mis-understanding between what you wanted quoted and what the contractor thought you wanted. They were highly competitive in price and they did not require a deposit upfront which most other places did. We signed up in March and had to wait until first of June, but we were told at the time of quote that they had a waiting list already. Most other vendors had said the same. Plus there were several rainy days that delayed their work progress. Once it was our turn our 480 square foot deck was done in 2 & 1/2 days. We have a 6' wide x 6' tall trellis topped privacy rail to block our neighbors view from their corner window, fancy look rails with classic aluminum balusters, 2 sets of stairs and vertical skirting. There were 2 main carpenters and then some varying 'laborers' on their crew. The 2 main guys were always polite and friendly and very willing to answer any questions. They cleaned up their site quite well. We only had 1 cigarette butt left in our yard afterwards. When we got home the day it was completed we found a couple minor things that needed attention and a guy came out the next day to take care of them. A month later we have a few warped end boards that have pulled screws out, which is common with the drying process of the wood, and Bruce said he will have someone out soon to take care of those for us. We are very pleased with our deck. We have received raving compliments from our family, friends & neighbors. We highly recommend Decks by Design of IN.”

“We absolutely love our retractable awning! The customer service we received from this delightful family owned business was exceptional from the day of purchase to install. Kevin, the owner and salesman, was very helpful with picking the best color option and size to fit our backyard patio and the installation team cleaned up everything afterwards. We decided to get the motorized retractable that comes with an easily mounted remote (great for keeping out of reach of our little ones hands).. The motorization is great for when we are indoors and want to shade the area where our large sliding door is. We also decided to get the wind control; which has been great for our home since it tends to get a good gust of wind on occasion back there. We've already spent much more time sitting out on our patio than what we did before the awning. It's been a great addition to our home visually and functionally; we couldn't be happier.”
