“We had a great experience with Rebel Builders. The enthusiasm and cheerfulness of Diana Pauro, owner and lead architect was infectious. Diana grasped our need for a cozy, warm and updated master bathroom, closet and master bedroom, quickly and well. She and her team managed our project with skill, politeness, and consideration. They were available to answer questions when we had them; were sensitive to our needs (we were living in the house at the time) and had strong time-management skills. I particularly liked that Diana paid attention to hiring contractors with a similar philosophy of strong customer services to her. I would thoroughly recommend Rebel Builders if you need ideas for a project and full project management through completion. Indeed, we recommended Rebel Builders to friends who are rennovating an entire house with them.”

“I'm happy to give Scott Curtice my strongest positive recommendation. Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”

“We hired Saltsman Brenzel to build a new house on the site of a demolished house. We had completed 2 construction projects in the past, with different companies, and our experience with SB was superior in every way. The design of the house is sensitive to the neighborhood and the site, while incorporating our requests. The design/build aspect was seamless, from permitting all the way through to finish work. The budget was kept track of with regular meetings & weekly spread sheets. I would highly recommend SB for a productive, low-stress, and enjoyable construction experience.”

“His slogan "exceeding your expectations" couldn't be more accurate. Working with Vin was a pleasure from design to completion. We always felt he was looking out for our best interests and working with us to achieve the best results. His crew and subcontractors he works with were of the highest quality, friendly and always did a great job to return our home to as a functional as possible at the end of each day. “We hired Don Foote Contracting for a total renovation of a 3300 sq ft old house. Work involved demolition to the studs, reframing and then complete renovation. The job moved along rapidly and they were always quick to react to any bumps along the way. Don and his team work very hard to be as transparent as possible with what is happening and costs of various aspects of the project. They are also very organized and push the homeowner to make all necessary decisions up front so things are not delayed waiting for material or while a design decision is made. Despite having a very detailed and explicit plan before we started we still made some changes along the way. They took these in stride. The team and subcontractors were clean and respectful of ourselves and our neighbors and they did great work. We ended up with a wonderful house that we love. I would absolutely hire them again. Final bit of advice: Plan EVERY BIT OF DETAIL POSSIBLE for your project BEFORE YOU START. A good contractor will love you for it and you will save money.”
