“Eric Perry is working with us to design and build our modern home. He and his team have made the process enjoyable. His design suggestions have reduced cost significantly while maintaining the spirit of our vision. Eric has hired subcontractors that are professional and he has kept the process moving seamlessly. Eric's wife, Violet, also provides advice on design and color questions and is a valuable resource. We have worked with other builders in the past and none of our prior experiences have been as pleasant and productive.”

“We are thrilled we hired Beth and Michael to design a renovation/addition. From day one they listened to our needs, immediately made design suggestions, and instilled in us a sense of confidence in their experience. Since then they delivered an amazing design with thoughtful suggestions for materials and energy efficiency. They continue to be open to revisions and helping us discover what it is we are ultimately wanting in our new spaces. Michael and Beth will not be building our project but they will act as consultants to help us select a builder to build a high quality project at a reasonable cost. They sat in on one meeting so far with a prospective builder and their experience shined through immediately. Beth presented the design concept and communicated our vision while Michael shared the nuts and bolts of the construction details. After the meeting we knew their role in the next phase of the project is invaluable. They are definitely looking out for our best interests. We look forward to seeing our project be built with Beth and Michael as our allies.”

“Workhive helped me with my kitchen and master suite about a year ago. Love the results! So happy I didn’t stick to my own DIY designs...they took my plan ideas and improved them into something better than what I imagined. I also appreciated all the good practical suggestions on how to stretch my budget. Still love being in my kitchen!”

“I had a difficult job to do in a difficult location, I had been trying to get done for two years. Craftsman Direct promptly assessed the situation and sent competent specialist workers to perform the work including removing and entire floor of rotted wood assisting the supports, replacing the floor (a bath) and tiled it, replaced with new toilet and sink and bath. The followed this up with miscellaneous repairs : installing a ceiling, replacing two plaster panels in another place, repairing floor (rotted) under a washing machine. they installed four door knobs. The workers were competent and polite. Kept me informed of problems, changes, and progress of the job. All this in one Week! I am very pleased with every aspect of this job including the cost which I considered fair and appropriate.”

“We hired Steve from "By Design Custom Builders" for our 3,200 sf home renovation which was completed in two phases (downstairs living level in 2014 and upstairs bedroom level in 2016). The lower level reno was fairly extensive, with walls removed and a kitchen redesign. The upper level included updates of all BR/BA's, as well as a complete remodel of our master bath. We had a preconceived vision for the design, so Steve referred me to his preferred industry professionals who made the selection process for the various finishing elements a breeze. With Steve's communication, everyone was very clear about the budget and careful to stay on track. Steve's crew members were highly skilled professionals who obviously took pride in their work. We are sad to say we have since moved out of that home. But for the purpose of this review, it's worth noting we recouped every bit of our renovation investment after selling just 1 year post-project completion. Photos of our contemporary home are included with the professional profile.”

“Our family was so fortunate to have Kate's expertise and talent in transforming our daughter's playroom into a beautiful bedroom. The new space is exactly what any little girl would want- warm, welcoming, and inviting. The details are so unique- from the striped walls to all of the decor that Kate hand-picked. This room is without a doubt the best decorated room in our home, and the whole family is drawn to it. From a professional standpoint, Kate was wonderful to work with. Having never consulted a decorator, I did not know what to expect, but was constantly surprised by her knowledge and "out of the box" ideas. Also, we had a major change half-way through the project when we found out we were expecting another baby. We then changed the design to accommodate two children in the bedroom! She was flexible and took it all in stride. I offer my very highest recommendation of Blair Homes- your family will be amazed by the results!”

“We had an amazing experience with John at Aerie.us My wife and I sat down with John to discuss our ideas for a built-in in the living room. John listened sketched a few ideas and within one to two weeks had at least 4-5 detailed design ideas. The final design was a hybrid of two to three earlier designs. For the cost and construction time, John's build is absolutely incredible and looks as though it has always been with the house. He is both a design guru and a master craftsman all in one. We feel completely spoiled and would not consider anyone else doing work inside our home.”
