Carl Mattison Design
Design & Construction Firms in Lindridge-Martin Manor, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars15 May 2013
“Carl Mattison Design is truly a full service design house. Carl met with my husband and I a few months prior to begining our kitchen and bath remodel project. He helped us to think through many different options for our space. He was very creative and came up with a design proposal which utilized our kitchen space in a way we had never considered. At first we were hesitant to make such a dramatic change in our almost 100 year old house, but ultimately we selected this design- dubbed "The Ultimate" and we could not be happier! We discussed budget with Carl at the onset of this project and he never lost sight of that parameter. When my husband and I decided to increase our budget, Carl was the one who keep us realistic and worked to help keep cost down. In a house as old as ours it's not surprising that quirks and problems arose. Carl never gave up on finding the most practical, budget friendly solution and was always available to meet when we needed him. He also made himself available to our contractor which made the process smoother when quick decisions or details were needed. Carl helped us to narrow down difficult choices for small and large decisions and always replied quickly when I problems arose. He is always on time and also fun to work with! I happily recommend Carl Mattison Design to all my friends and neighbors who have come to check out our new and beautiful space!”

Infinite Home
Design & Construction Firms in Lindridge-Martin Manor, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars12 November 2012
“Our experience with Infinite Home was fantastic! Renovating a home can be very stressful, especially when you're entrusting someone else to accomplish what you visualize for your biggest investment. David and Laurel Mullikin were very communicative and asked lots of questions so that they could fully understand every detail of what we wanted. Yet, at the same time, they would guide us when the options were overwhelming. They have worked on projects in many locations giving them great design diversity. We used online methods such as Pinterest.com and Houzz.com to foster collaboration and bring better clarity. Their online system Build tools also allowed us to be perfectly clear about our selections, leaving us with the final approval. This system allowed us to track the progress of the renovation and communicate about important decisions that needed to made along the way! Our renovation experience was truly enjoyable thanks to David and Laurel Mullikin and Infinite Home!”
Legacy Renovations LLC
Design & Construction Firms in Lindridge-Martin Manor, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 October 2013
“Legacy Renovations has done a number of projects for me. Most recently, however, was my kitchen renovation. This involved essentially a complete demo as everything from flooring to cabinetry and appliances was replaced. Time was taken when necessary to help make choices and make recommendations and I'm pleased with all of the results. Reputable, follows through, professional, trustworthy, and the perfectionism you want in a contractor! I would and have recommended them to many friends and family. It's always nice to know you can trust someone in your home if you cannot be there and when working on small to major projects!”

First Street Builders
Design & Construction Firms in Lindridge-Martin Manor, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars31 December 2014
“First Street Builders helped me go from the first inklings of an idea, through design, financing, variance, tear-down, building all the way to a beautifully finished craftsman home. When there was a delay, problem or a bump in the road, (and there will be in ANY build or renovation), they were up front about what was going on and what needed to happen next. Then they took care of it. Period. They build quality and they are straight shooters. I would definitely hire them again. Its been a long road of many (many, many) decisions, but I am now in the new home, a beautiful and clean-lined living space, emphasizing natural light, wood and stone. The most entertaining description I've heard was "If an Arts and Crafts bungalow and a Frank Lloyd Wright house had a baby....." There are pictures of the whole project on Houzz at http://www.houzz.com/projects/570964/decatur-craftsman I call it the ecumenical home. Mennonite craftsmen made the cherry built ins. An orthodox Jewish carpenter did the stairs. The kitchen island was made by a local Quaker furniture maker. It is beautiful and liveable. The open floorplan of the first floor feels spacious and welcoming. I've entertained here several times, including two pig roasts and the kitchen works great even with lots traffic and cooking going on. The house isn't just pretty. It works.”
