“Wammoth saved me thousands of dollars. Instead of having to buy a new gas fireplace due to a carbon monoxide problem, as three different places told me I would have to do, Ryan from Wammoth thoroughly cleaned the fireplace and re-set the logs, and the CO problem was gone! I had difficulty finding a firm which would repair my deep red, Vermont Castings fireplace. Everyone I contacted wanted to replace it at a cost of five to six thousand dollars. It seemed silly and worse the the "guts" of the fireplace could not be fixed or replaced allowing me to keep the beautiful cast iron outer shell. A friend found Wammoth Services for me and I am so glad he did. Setting up an appointment was easy. Ryan came on time and was meticulous in keeping the dirt contained within the work area. He took the fireplace apart and put it back together again. When he was not sure about a certain step, he called his "home base" and had a "consultation". I am always impressed when someone is not sure of something and asks someone who should know the answer. There are many brands of fireplaces out there and it is foolish to expect a repair-person to know them all. Plus, Vermont Castings is no longer making the model I have. Ryan also told us that we should have the chimney checked, especially since the cap at the top was tilted and that might also inhibit a proper draft through the flue. He recommended a firm that came out was was every bit as professional as he was. My wife and I are extremely pleased that we got to keep the fireplace we love - and not spending thousands of dollars on something we didn't need is also a good thing. Now I know that I was supposed to have the fireplace cleaned annually [it hadn't been in 20 years] and I am calling Wammoth to do that task. You should call them too for any fireplace need. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.”

“I called to get chimney cleaned and an estimate to replace the chase top and gutter covers. 2 guys came, one cleaned chimney from inside and the other got on roof to inspect. They did a great job, even left me a picture of the top so I could see the condition of it. I called a few days later and ordered the new chase top - they had already measured while they were here so they didn't need to come back until the chase top was ready to be installed. They called before they came and I was not home when they put the top up. They left the bill and a picture of the top after they repaired it. They also painted the cap black while they were up there.”
