KC Industries was started by Kees and Carol Huisman in 1986 as a small home industry. In 2001, we again outgrew that space and built our present factory and retail shop to accommodate our growing business. By this time we were making baby cots and kids beds, since then things have evolved to where we are today, making much more customised products using native and exotic timbers.
Will is the founder of WRW & Co. and grew up on a Waikato farm north of Raglan. Will was educated in Auckland before graduating from Otago Art School. After working in the creative departments on various film sets, Will headed off to travel the world by working on super yachts. This was followed by a stint in London where he project managed interior fit outs for brands such as GAP, H&M and Selfridges as well as restaurants and accommodation. However, New Zealand’s rugged countryside and an untapped desire to work with wood, finally lured him home to try his hand at designing and making furniture from reclaimed timbers. The unique first time pieces had such a great response from an Auckland design store, it cemented Will’s desire to start his own business…and from there, WRW & Co. was born!
Toodles Noodles – New Zealand Made and Owned is an eco-friendly stationery company specialising in gift wrap that is cheeky, beautiful and colourful for every occasion. We believe that the gifts you give should be as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside! The name comes from the sign off the founder Liora Saad and her sister would use every time they wrote a letter, talked on the phone or online. So when trying to come up with a name for the company that was about sharing the joy of communication, it seemed like the perfect fit. When starting Toodles Noodles Liora wanted to show her love for gift wrap and her new home by utilising what New Zealand had to offer. All the products are produced in New Zealand and are either made from 100% recycled material or the most eco-friendly products possible. All designs and products are designed by Liora herself. Her designs are made to channel the New Zealand natural, earth feel while still maintaining the current design trends.
Garden Pine Design cape cod chairs (also known as adirondack chairs) are a classic design with a curved back and a rolled over seat front that provide great comfort and wide arms to sit your drink on. What better way to enjoy a sunny day? The pine used is H3 LOSP treated (Light Organic Solvent Preservative). It is knot free with a smooth finish and rounded edges. All screws are stainless steel so will not rust. We do recommend painting to resist weathering and keep appearances(see product care for more information). We can spray paint for customers but only after assembly and this increases the freight charges. Please phone to discuss colours and freight charges or pick up for this option. We endeavour to keep in stock at all times and the message by each order tab will advise you of this on our website. Click on the order tab of the desired items to pay by VISA or MASTERCARD through our secure page on our website. Please phone if you are not happy with internet payment and we can discuss other options. Sound too cheap? We sell hundreds of these chairs every year to make a profit and you are dealing direct with the manufacturer. We get many re-orders from customers who are obviously very happy with their purchase.
