“Jim Barton from Barton Legacy Builders was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. His work was quality craftsmanship and he fulfilled all requirement of the contracts we had with him. He tore out rebuilt the floor of our deck and stairs in a a professional manner and completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. We liked his work so much that we hired him a second time to tear down and rebuild stairs at another property. I highly recommend him as a contractor. I have already passed his name along to a couple of other friends.”

“Stockell Homes/Don Stockell has been the general contractor for us on 2 homes. Don completely renovated every square inch of our former home, a 1902 gem (after his renovations!) in an urban setting. We moved this past Summer to a suburban 1980's home and undertook major renovations on it. We have received nothing but the highest compliments from all that have entered either of our homes. Don's attention to detail and craftsmanship are superb. He has a fabulous work ethic and his word is his bond. With all the work he has done for us we feel like Don is one of the family and we recommend him without any reservation to anyone who is ever looking for a contractor.”

“Our experience with Las Aguilas Contracting was a bit unusual, because we had a fairly standard bath converted into a specialty one for a recovering invalid. These folks extended every courtesy for my husband, who had neck surgery. They waited to start full remodeling until all the special equipment was available, allowing full access to the toilet and vanity every night, while converting the bath area into a walk-in shower with fold down bench. A riser for the commode was located, and a vanity with special plumbing, Finally, non-slide tiles were installed across the room. They did a fantastic job--their workmen often working on the week-end, on budget. We will use them again on our next remodeling project.”

We were impressed with the trim work details and the care in which they protected the home when the subs were there. The design and finish work was exceptional. The home truly is beautiful. “NJL built a one-story custom home for me in 2017-2018. Nick and his team did a great job taking it from an architectural plan to a final product. He’s very knowledgeable about building in Kirkwood. He had great suggestions when challenges arose in the selection and building process. I was very happy with the job supervision and the quality of work from his subcontractors. They were easy to work with and very responsive to questions and requests. I would strongly recommend him to friends and family.”

“I had a contractor that couldnt finish a bathroom renovation and MJM came in and not only finished the bathroom perfectly, they were able to fix the mistakes made by the previous contractor. We love the bathroom and would highly recommend them for any project! I have used them for some handyman work recently and they handle small projects as professionally as they do the large ones.
