We were introduced to Paul & Nicole from Spin design by Dominic Hollands from Refresh Renovations and we can not recommend them more highly. We are incredibly happy with the overall outcome of our house; the colours, design and layout are fantastic and so much more than we could have imagined or achieved by ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble and Nicole made the decision making in a world of such overwhelming choice easy. She did all the hard yards for us, along with negotiating multiple changes that were required in our at times COVID product restricted world. It has been impossible to chose the favourite part of our 'new' house as every part excites us. Communicating with Paul & Nicole was easy, they are approachable, responsive and really took the time to 'get us' and what we wanted, at time when we didn't even know what we wanted. Spin Design quickly got an understanding of what we were wanting and produced designs that reflected our style. We thought they had great interior design ideas.

Paul and Nicole from Spin Design were introduced to us by Dominic from DJH (Refresh Renovations) who are undertaking our renovation work. Paul was brought in early on, to create the concept for our reno; updated kitchen, an overhaul of our laundry, and new ensuite and wardrobe addition. Paul's design was thoughtful, he understood just what we wanted, he was conscious of costs and he quickly identified design ideas I hadn't thought of. The collaboration between him and DJH was very smooth. I knew early on that I wanted Nicole's help with the interior design and I'm so thankful we engaged her at the start! Nicole has made the entire renovation process so much easier through her careful and detail oriented design. Without her interior design plans upfront, I would have been faced with a myriad of questions and decisions to make on the spot. Given Spin Design work closely with DJH, our project manager Rebecca could simply call Nicole for any question she had, as everything had been decided upfront. It also made cost estimates more detailed and so we knew more of our costs before starting than if we hadn't had a detailed interior design plan. Nicole has picked everything; right down to the kitchen handles, tap and back door handle, all of which I'm already getting compliments for. I have often felt throughout this process that Nicole could read my mind - everything she chose was perfect, and far better than what I could have sourced. Like Paul, her design is thoughtful, considerate of the house's character we want to keep and always with an eye to cost too. I can't speak highly enough of Paul and Nicole. Alongside DJH (Refresh), our renovations have been smooth and actually enjoyable! I thoroughly recommend you choose Spin Design - they are professional, they produce great work for a very reasonable price and they are lovely, trustworthy people to work with.

We were introduced to Nicole by Jim at KKG Ltd (Refresh Renovations - who did the renovation work). With such a large project it was great to have the design expertise of Nicole, particularly for our kitchen and bathrooms. We had some ideas of the products we wanted to use, but had difficulties envisioning how it was going to look and fit into our space. Nicole listened and understood what we wanted and with her design eye highlighted things we didn’t see. Her expertise in how the kitchen would flow and its functionality was invaluable. The kitchen has been designed into a beautiful contemporary space which is one of our favourite rooms of the house where our family spends most of our time. With the bathrooms we had limited space, so we were very pleased that Nicole was able to design and utilise the space more efficiently. We are delighted with the results of the kitchen and bathrooms and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Spin Design to other potential clients.

Our project was a full scale re-build of a double storey house in Onehunga. We engaged with Nicole at Spin Design quite early on to help us with our interior & exterior decor decisions - she has helped us with so much more giving us a few suggestions of design adjustments on our build plans along the way. The reverse brief from her was thorough and clearly showed she had understood what we were wanting to achieve aesthetically but also understood that with a toddler in the house it needed to be practical. There is so much choice out there but with her guidance we haven't felt overwhelmed and she's always been available to give us her advice and recommendations Such great value for money, we would happily recommend Spin Design. Our project is well underway now and we can't wait to see how it all comes together!

We had an amazing experience with Spin Design. Our 1920's bungalow was getting too small for us as our children got older. We went from 3 smallish bedrooms, 1 bathroom and little lounge to 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan living area with new kitchen. It has made the world of difference to us. So glad we did it. Spin Design helped our dream become a reality. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Great service & ideas!

My wife and I had 'matrimonial differences' about our colour scheme both inside and out. After Nicole sat with us and heard us out, she sent us about 50 images of other houses so we could see what the finished job would look like. It was not a co-incidence that my wife and I both chose the same 2 colour schemes for inside and out - Nicole really nailed our personalities and what we wanted our renovated home to look like. The job is done and we are loving what we have created.

Nicole worked with us to reconfigure a problem area in our house - A pokey bathroom, laundry and bedroom which had never functioned well, lacked storage space and were unattractive. She was able to think outside the square and came up with a very clever redesign solution that overcame all the issues - A very minor expansion of the footprint expanded and modernized the bathroom, gave the bedroom a decent-sized wardrobe and more useable floor space, and produced a very functional hidden laundry. We had looked at this area ourselves for years and could never see an answer. Nicole also designed a new kitchen to replace a dated one and again came up with a clever and innovative design that expanded storage space and enhanced functionality. While we did not in the end go ahead with the planned renovation (moved house instead), I would not hesitate in recommending Nicole as being a designer who listens and collaborates rather than dictates, is a clever lateral thinker, is enormously patient and finally but importantly, is a really pleasant person to work with.

"Nicole was the interior designer of our new kitchen. Even though we had a good idea what kind of look we were after Nicole helped us with the design, details and especially the layout. We didn't make it easy for Nicole as we really wanted to get rid off the existing L-shape. She tried so hard and considered every possible option to do so. Nicole was recommended to us by our Architect. Nicole has been amazing through our whole kitchen renovation project. She is so personable, reliable and amazingly patient. I contacted Nicole who promptly made arrangements to come and visit the house. As I was unsure of the exact style of kitchen I wanted, Nicole was able to offer suggestions that would compliment the style of the house. She compiled several kitchen layouts for me to look at and was always able to offer options and alternatives. Nicole is so patient and so prompt and clear with her communication. She would offer to help me any way I needed, even offering to meet me at places to assist with my choosing of appliances, bench tops, etc. I would highly recommend Nicole.

Nicole is a talented designer who helped us solve our ‘small kitchen in a big house’ problem and get the most out of our space. She is reliable, and has a clear communication style, and was always patient when I changed my mind. She laid out our options and suggested what she felt was the best one without ever being pushy. She worked with the style of our house to design a unique room which was in keeping with the rest of our home. Her knowledge of materials came in very handy and her local connections saved us money. Her pricing was reasonable and she also provided us with working drawings for our trades people to follow.
