Our projects are spanned across Christchurch, Canterbury and the Central Otago region. Personalised "one-off" designs can either be purchased by the client or NC Design can project manage the supply and installation of an accepted design. Nicky was great to work with, she really knows her stuff, and was full of practical suggestions and creative solutions. We worked with her in 2019 over several months, leading to the installation of our beautiful new kitchen. Her detailed knowledge of product lines was really helpful in narrowing down our choices so we could make informed decisions and understand how the overall form and function would come together. Details matter, and Nicky had them covered. Her design and our choices all came together wonderfully in a kitchen we will love and use for years to come. We hoped for a family kitchen that would look beautiful, reflect our style, function well, and serve as gathering place for family and friends. It is all of these things, and we would recommend Nicky to anyone.

Nicky helped me a great deal. The planning process was the fun part and she nailed the design aspects to make the bathroom work well, giving me a number of options to choose from. We had fun choosing the bathroom furniture and fittings, I did change my mind on a few things and we had a bit of a glitch on the tiles (no fault of Nicky!) but the wait was worth it and I am totally happy with the outcome.

I went to Niki, as we had used her previously, with a budget and we had a couple of meetings to alter, adjust things, and decide on materials and colours etc, and then when the day for installation arrived we were more and more excited as the kitchen took shape. We had trades people on site working at the same time and they were super impressed with the finished product, as were we I might add. They commented they have seen less impressive kitchens for much greater cost. - we couldn't comment on that aspect, but more than happy with what we got. Project dates were all met, all targets met, & Niki thoroughly professional.

Nicky was the only designer who was genuinely enthusiastic to work with us in realising our design within our budget. When everyone else was telling us it couldn’t be done, Nicky was the first to show us that it could be done. The final result a bespoke island design and a mixture of stainless steel and brass metals. Nicky also designed our butlers pantry and laundry, once again an excellent bespoke solution. Another great thing when we were facing a challenging new home build, Nicky communicated seamlessly with our builder and was always on hand to handle any concerns from design through to the installation. A clear 5 stars from us!

Nicky designed a new kitchen for us as part of a substantial renovation which was difficult as it was necessary to work with existing plumbing and other space restrictions; and required imagination as the design was required well before the renovations started. Nicky came up with an innovative idea for the step in pantry and island that was functional for our large family, worked well in the space and with existing facilities, and most importantly looks fabulous. Our kitchen is the most commented on aspect of our renovation when visitors come.

Nicky designed our kitchen renovation. She designed and planned our kitchen. Helped us with colour choices and how the drawers and cupboards would open/ function. Nicky provided quotes, ordered and installed. She was professional, approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. We LOVE our design and new kitchen. Highly recommend.
