“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. “Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. “Outstanding. Robbi is a highly regarded professional, by homeowners like ourselves and the other companies (architects, builders, landscape companies), with whom she works. In fact, we researched Robbi and her company, as we watched another property in the area undergo its "transformation" by Woodburn and Company. This property is a showpiece in our community and we liked what we saw happening - and hired her. Unlike many landscape architects, Robbi listens. She listens very closely and then translates her client's vision masterfully! She is always on top of budgets, always stays connected and communicates at the highest level. She asks questions that her clients may not think to ask...exploring the pros and cons of any and all ideas. “Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“CCHLD turned my dirt yard into a gravel parking lot and pathway to the front door. They did a beautiful with that. Then they turned my weedy, sloping backyard into a three tired, rock wall, garden. There is a firepit and patio at the bottom. They did everything we talked about, within my budget, and it is beautiful. Thanks Chuck and crew for a job well done. “She's like a painter with plants. With a superb knowledge of natives. I loved her presentation and her education of us--complete with visuals--on all that she wanted to do with plants. She has a clean, modern sensibility, but with a friendly, approachable, style, even good humor in the work. She's willing to take ideas and bring them to fruition--we came prepared with ideas and she showed us how to make them work. And then, she brought her own smart vision. Vision. That's what she's got. And really knows her plants. It's worth noting that she has so much talent. With this kind of talent, she could be impossible to work with, but she is THE LOVELIEST human being to be around. “I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. “Dave and his team were excellent. In our initial meeting, Dave was respectful and knowledgable, really listening to what we wanted. His detailed quote hit all the various options we asked for and included sample photos. Once the build started, his team was fast, clean, and courteous. We live on a busy street with many involved neighbors and everyone commented to me after how professional the team was. Along the way we made slight changes to the project which Dave was flexible to accomodate. The final product was better than we imagined and we're already talking future projects. Highly recommend!!”
