Dee was totally professional in all aspects.She had an excellent understanding of our coastal environment and the plants, and landscapes best suited to this environment. She listened to our needs and qualified them in every aspect.She showed flair and creativity in her design and incorporated our ideas in her choice of plants etc.She related well to us as her clients and to the builder involved. and followed up with interest. The designer will submit photos.

Dee was excellent to work with. She incorporated our ideas into the design as well as used her own ideas and expertise to bring things we would have never have thought of. As things come together we can see what an asset it was to hire Ivy & Bloom to design our garden with us. Dee’s communication and plans were always very professional, nothing was ever too much trouble.

Dee from Ivy & Bloom is absolutely lovely and very easy to work with. She’s increadibly knowlegable about plants and knows what will work and what won’t in each space. Dee provided helpful suggestions along the way and created an excellent landscape plans for us. ZEven though Dee created our landscape plan a few months ago, yesterday (Sunday) I needed some additional help with our palm. Dee text back straight away providing all answers and support we needed - amazing service! We have a smaller outdoor area and almost didn’t go with a landscape designer as we didn’t see the need. However, we’ve since realised that smaller areas are actually more tricky, especially in our case as we wanted as much area as possible for the kids to run around. Overall we are very happy - thank you Dee & team.

Dee has created an amazing design for our new build empty garden. we had a clear idea of the style we wanted but no idea whether it was possible or how to achieve it, she took the long list of things I was hoping for in our strangely shaped section and created a beautiful plan that uses the shape brilliantly and has with everything we wanted and more!! I asked Dee to create a landscape design for our garden because I was so impressed by the work she had done for a friend. She has lived up to expectation in every way. She fully understood our requirements and has indeed brought them to life in the design she has created for us. The design and plantings she has proposed for our quite difficult section are impressive, plus the colour palette is perfect. At every stage of the design process she has kept us informed, and was happy to take on board suggestions we made. Not only that, she understood that we had a limited budget and has worked hard to keep within it. Dee was also able to recommend a company to bring the plan to fruition and currently we await the landscaping to begin. I highly recommend Dee - she is a talented professional who has been able to bring to life a design plan that is perfect for our needs.

Dee is a very talented designer and a pleasure to work with. She listens, delivers what she promises, is highly organised, and meticulous in working through the details. Our small back garden slopes to a damp corner. It had no existing planting to speak of and earlier design options were complicated by some public storm water drainage we’ve had to work around. Dee’s solution for our space has been completely fresh and inspired. Her intelligent hardscaping has turned problems into opportunities for design features. She has provided a gorgeous planting plan and been available to advise our builders and landscape gardeners.

Dee has delivered a wonderful concept for our garden. She listened to us and then added her skill and inspiration, to reimagine our existing large garden on the outskirts of Auckland. We aren’t gardeners so Dee needed to explain her thoughts to paint a picture in order to guide and inform our decision making. The plans she has come up with are far an above better ng anything we could have imagined. With interesting materials and textures introduced, and with consistency of style without losing the contrasts of focal points, the whole garden will few like a cohesive whole. The garden will sit well within the local environment, and the house will relate better to it’s surroundings. She has thought about how we will use the space, so the the house is more connected to the outside. The garden can be completed in stages, and it also allows the creation of zones, without losing the overall look. I can’t wait to see it realised.

This is the first and defiantly wont be the last time Urbis Landscapes works with Dee from Ivy and Bloom. Through part of the project the client was overseas and she was on hand to answer questions and take control of the design leaving the build up to us. Great design and easy to read. Amazing outcome for everyone involved in the project.
