“We had designed our first new home ourselves, but second time around it wasn’t so easy. We had a basic concept in mind, but couldn’t bring it all together and “make it fit”. “I employed Wendy Bradford 2 years ago to oversea the interior design of my newly renovated bach in the Marlborough Sounds. The house was old and small however we renovated every room and opened out the lounge to a deck and we are very pleased with the result. I like to be involved with the design and Wendy was very happy with that ---- it's a consultative process, which to my mind is important. Wendy advised on colours throughout the house, curtains in each room, new furniture where required, introduced a kitchen designer to the mix, bathrooms, wooden floors, rugs etc. For a reasonable price we have ended up with a bach that has a very cool/ casual/ lodge feel to it --- and everybody loves it !!
