Phil has provided me an excellent service over the past few years. We have completely redecorated the interior of two houses, and Phil has gone above and beyond with not only all painting/prep work; but replacing door handles, kitchen drawers, light fittings, installing door bells and much more. Phil was very helpful with colour choice, including the likes of negative detail and feature walls for something a little bit different. He even helped select curtains/carpet and vinyl colours and styles to ensure everything matched up perfectly. Phil has done an amazing job with our properties and we are very thankful for all his help.

Phil from Painting Professionals along with his apprentice completed a full repaint and wallpaper of our home. Phil discussed at length the planning and process that would be undertaken in order for us to live in the house while this was being carried out. He provided warning if they were ahead of schedule so we could prepare the room as required. He fitted in with our timeframes when other contractors were concerned and our personal needs. From a budget perspective, Phil kept us informed if there were any changes to the original quote and the reasons why. In our case it was because we were adding things along the way, which he accommodated without any issues. The quality of the job was excellent, where there were imperfections from dust in the environment (out of his control) he redid those areas which were over and above the expectations. After everything was complete he came back and checked through the whole job again to ensure everything was perfect. I would recommend Phil for any Painting or wallpaper job, it won't be the last time we use him!

Phil Neighbour of Painting Professionals helped us with redecoration of the master bedroom in our late 1920s house. We did the wallpaper stripping ourselves and thought we wanted to get Phil to plaster the walls for a paint finish. However, on Phil's advice, we opted for application of lining paper to paint over - more cost-effective and more resilient than plaster. Phil did the papering and gap filling to a high standard. Next was the choice of colour. Phil's suggestion to tint the primer, rather than use test pots, was really helpful - two jobs done in one. Finally, the topcoat - at Phil's request, the people at Resene were able to mix up a perfect colour match for us from a small paint card. We painted the walls ourselves and we're delighted with the colour. Phil's a very busy man, because he's good at what he does, so it was a wee while before he was able to get to us, but once on the job he was prompt with his quotation, turned up when he said he would, offered useful advice and tips, and did a great job - nothing was too much trouble to help us achieve the result we wanted.

The Painting Professionals are a great team who not only do an excellent job, but also provide advice and guidance. For example I was sent multiple 'mock ups' of different colour schemes for the house exterior to assist me to visualize the effect. The company name describes their approach. They were professional in every way - from set-up to cleaning-up. I would highly recommend Phil and his team.

Phil Neighbour of Painting Professionals offers a top notch service and workmanship that is hard to find in some "tradies" these days. His attention to detail and making sure he gets it right is the reason why we chose Phil to re-decorate our house, the 2nd one he has done for us......
