“We engaged Damian (on the recommendation of a colleague who used Damian on two projects) to design our ALNO kitchen, and two of our bathrooms as part of the renovation of our Kelburn property in Wellington NZ. The result was exactly what we wanted - a high quality, modern, welcoming kitchen with an understated elegance that beautifully compliments our home. Our new kitchen feels like an indulgence to be in. My wife also loves her new ensuite, and the other bathroom designed for the kids has worked very well. Damian worked with us throughout the process, nothing was too hard, he was always happy to accommodate late changes to plans, and took responsibility when issues arose during the build process by dealing with those issues promptly, and keeping us updated. He was always available and easy to get hold of. Emails and phone calls were responded to promptly. The professionalism exibited by Damian extended to the team of sub-contractors all of whom I met during the build process. They were fantastic to deal with, and it was clear that Damian had a very strong working relationship with these sub-contractors. From an earlier experience with a different Kitchen Design company for a previous property that saw our kitchen left unfinished for six months due to sub-contractor issues, I have come to appreciate the importance of having a Designer like Damian that enjoys the respect and priority of his sub-contractors. I have since used these sub-contractors for other work on the property. Damian continues to provide support (ie ordering of an accessory consumable particular to an installed appliance), and I have the peace of mind knowing that even though our kitchen is custom made with dimensions particular to our space, any part of it can easily be re-ordered by Damian from ALNO (or by us from ALNO directly) as ALNO keeps a record on file of the detailed plans of all custom made kitchens that can easily be fed into their manufacturing flow upon request for replacement parts/panels. Absolutely recommended.”
